MA-55H, nicknamed Mash, was a bounty droid who worked for the Haxion Brood crime syndicate during the Imperial Era. In 9 BBY, the droid traveled to a above the Shattered Moon of the planet Koboh in search for the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, who had a bounty on his head.
Fellow Brood bounty hunter Caij Vanda tipped Kestis off to MA-55H's location and the Jedi tracked the droid down. The bounty droid and another Brood hunter then battled Kestis in the facility's Automated Forge, but the Jedi slew both hunters.
MA-55H was the designation of a bounty droid that served the criminal Haxion Brood syndicate during the Imperial Era. He earned the nickname Mash based on his favourite manor of disposing of troublesome bounties. In 9 BBY, the leader of the Haxion Brood, Sorc Tormo had an outstanding bounty on the head of the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis. The amount was not high enough for the Brood bounty hunter Caij Vanda, but she devised a scheme to drive the price up to a point where it would be worth her time.
To achieve this, she provided tips on Kestis's location to MA-55H and other Brood bounty hunters, who then attempted to track the Jedi down. Carrying a holopuck on Kestis, MA-55H and another hunter traveled to a above the Shattered Moon of the planet Koboh shortly after Kestis had been there. The droid then let their location be known over Brood communication channels, talking about the facility.
Hoping to have Kestis slay Brood bounty hunters so that Tormo would increase the price on his head, Vanda then informed the Jedi of MA-55H's location and claimed the droid was a disgrace to the bounty hunting profession. As Vanda had also incentivised Kestis to kill the hunters by rewarding any holopuck he brought back, Kestis returned to the Shattered Moon and tracked down MA-55H, who attacked the Jedi in the facility's Automated Forge. Kestis slew both MA-55H and the other hunter working with the droid and then took the holopuck from MA-55H's body, trading it into Vanda for a reward.
MA-55H appeared as an optional boss in the 2023 Respawn Entertainment video game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Although defeating MA-55H is not required for the main story, it is a requirement of the achievement and trophy "Caij Match" and so this article assumes that Kestis slew the droid.
