Mission to Cabarria

In 19 BBY, the still-recently anointed Sith Lord Darth Vader and the Inquisitor known as the Ninth Sister launched a mission to Cabarria in the Colonies after a Force-sensitive was reportedly sighted at a bar. After their arrival on the planet Cabarria, the truth was revealed: the supposed sighting was a trap to try and entangle Vader, who was attacked by the Cha family. Vader's recent arrival into the Galactic Empire's operations had sent a stir throughout the Imperial Officer Corps. Not understanding Vader's place in the hierachy and believing he needed to be killed to make things run smoothly, Colonel Barokki and another Imperial officer put out a hit against the Sith apprentice on the Hunter Net.

The Chas—consisting of Bhada Cha, Ramat Cha and their twelve year old daughter Chanath Cha—attacked but were outmaneuvered and chased down by Vader, who threatened to kill the daughter should the parents not tell him more about the kill order. After learning the hit came from the Emperor's office, Vader killed both parents in front of their daughter, who was made to swear by her parents that she would not take revenge against Vader. However, she believed her heart had died and made it her mission to avenge her parents by killing the Sith Lord.
