Teleportation, a rare aptitude within the Force, allowed a user to relocate themselves almost instantly. Instances of this power have been demonstrated by figures such as Darth Jadus and the entity known as Abeloth. There is also a possibility that Darth Phobos wielded this ability. Furthermore, some of Palpatine's Force Adepts who acted as guardians for his museum and vaults also possessed this power. Darth Plagueis made a brief reference to this talent when discussing Sith who could move themselves instantaneously through time and space. The Dathomirian Nightsisters clan leader, Mother Talzin, demonstrated great skill with this power, appearing and disappearing as a green mist. Dread Master Tyrans also displayed the ability to use this Force power instantly between falling floor tiles, during a raid conducted by both the Republic and the Sith Empire within the Dread Palace. Dread Master Raptus also displayed talent in this ability by teleporting others to the far side of his chambers, away from himself.
A similar power, known as Fold Space, could instantly move individuals, objects, or even starships when combined with the appropriate technology.
Vitiate frequently used this ability, being able to teleport anywhere in his immediate surroundings.
This ability was among the most uncommon of rare Force powers, and was rarely used among Jedi who favored the power of the Force over lightsaber skills. It also consumed more energy than some powers, and took longer to master. Those new to the skill could likely move no more than four feet away, while a master of this skill could likely move anywhere they could clearly see.
