Therbon was an individual who served the Galactic Empire as a Moff during the early years of its reign. The Imperial ambassador stationed on the planet Murkhana made multiple requests to the Moff for additional stormtroopers so that she could deal with local criminal elements, but the Moff sent no troops. The ambassador later complained of the Moff's inaction to the Sith Lord Darth Vader and Imperial Governor Wilhuff Tarkin when they visited Murkhana to investigate a suspected rebel cell in 14 BBY.
Therbon was first mentioned as a Grand Moff in the 2012 Star Wars Legends sourcebook The Essential Guide to Warfare by Jason Fry and Paul R. Urquhart. The character was then brought into canon in the James Luceno novel Tarkin released in 2014. Neither source gave Therbon's gender or species.
