During the time that the Galactic Empire was in power (reign), a humanoid soldier of fortune served as a protector for a traveling bazaar located on the lunar surface of Jedha. On one occasion, they briefly engaged in conversation with a visiting Imperial intelligence agent, cautioning them about the potential dangers present at the location.

A hired gun was active on the moon of Jedha throughout the Galactic Empire's rule. This individual acted as a sentry at the gateway to an improvised itinerant marketplace. Serving as one of the most well-known venues of its kind on Jedha, the market facilitated commerce in prohibited items and was situated in a concealed location within the desert region outside the boundaries of Jedha City.
Around 1 BBY, the mercenary briefly spoke with an Imperial operative who was arriving at the market with the intention of acquiring goods for exchange with the opportunist Jalice Andit. The guard cautioned the secret agent, who possessed a commercial permit for operating in Jedha's markets, that it was easy to become disoriented within the nomadic market and that the agent had much to learn about local trading practices. Following this exchange, the spy proceeded into the market itself.
The imposing humanoid mercenary possessed light brown skin and a straight ink mark extending across their lower labium and down their mentum.
The mercenary was clad in black-and-gray body protection featuring orange breast and upper arm plates, along with a dark kerchief and a short cloak. They carried a lengthy energy weapon.
The mercenary made an appearance in "Secret Mission on Jedha," a scenario featured in the 2020 Space Cowboys card game titled Unlock!: Star Wars Escape Game.
