Talk: Dark Lord Trayus

Re:

Yeah, that sounds good. I usually come off too strongly when I argue that point and then end up regretting my vehemence later. This time was no exception. Anyway, I feel that consistency across the board is best. If something wouldn't be treated as a Source in one article, I don't see why it should be treated as one in any other. A Source is a Source for everything that it mentions, and an interview is just an interview irrespective of whether it mentions something that hasn't appeared in canon yet.

If an interview with Lucas posted on sw.com is only treated as a Source for something because it was that thing's first mention, well, I don't really think that that flies. The "Discussion" section of the CT did specifically state that the CT's intent was to only include such sw.com articles in a Sources section until "Real" sources/appearances that mentioned or featured it came out. means, in my opinion, "First mention in canon." A mention in an interview isn't a mention in canon. I don't see why such an interview should be treated any differently than, say, a forum post by an author --- sure, it's on sw.com, but that's what the CT was for: weeding out sw.com articles that decidedly aren't sources. • Hey! So I'm leaving on a five-day vacation tomorrow. I won't be able to review Sacking of Coruscant before then, but I'll make it my top priority when I get back. Menkooroo 04:15, July 28, 2011 (UTC)

RE: The Dathomir quarantine

I hate to fail you but I never got to do much of the Quarantine Zone content. The majority of it required a group and they were hard to come by. Only thing I can suggest is looking over at the SWG Wiki for any information. Hope this helps. OLIOSTER 08:43, July 27, 2011 (UTC)

The times…

Hey my friend, how's thigns going? Been a while, again. Just wanted to l;et you know that I haven't forgotten the Wook, just that I need to take care of my parents. When everything settles down, I'll resume my usual work, that is, after I have caught up on all that has happened in the EU. If you can, please e-mail me sonmetime. Up to GA

Good day Trayus. I'm sure you already noticed, but I thought I'd just give you a quick reminder that Darth Malgus's personal shuttle is now under GA nomination if you wanted to have a look at it. See ya! Cal Jedi 21:16, July 29, 2011 (UTC)

CAN objections

Hey Trayus! Just a little reminder that I took care of your objections for Doghouse quite some time ago. So if you could take another look at it and tell me if it needs to be fixed more, or else strike your objections, I'd appreciate it. Thanks! Cal Jedi 16:15, August 5, 2011 (UTC)

Date for Malgus' personal shuttle

Hey again Trayus. I've come to ask for your advanced knowledge on TOR. For the GAnom of Darth Malgus's personal shuttle, I need a date for the Battle of Alderaan. Is there a canon date? Thanks in advance. Cal Jedi 23:00, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

We're halfway there

Hey Trayus... good job

Hey Trayus... good job

So guys, we're nearing the halfway point with this barn-burner. I just want to send out a broad message thanking everyone who has and plans on participating in Wookieepedia's second barn-burner, and update you guys on how it's going so far. So far, we have promoted nine Comprehensive Articles, twelve Good Articles, and one Featured Article! Fantastic job everyone who wrote and reviewed those weapons articles, I couldn't have asked for a better group to do so. We also have a number of current Good and Featured Article Nominations currently up, which you can see here.

However, as we approach the halfway point, I do want to encourage you all to keep writing and reviewing weapon articles for the barn-burner. Our goal should be to meet or surpass the level set by the previous barn-burner, which had over forty promoted articles. While we should aim to pass as many articles as possible by the end of the month, I may extend the barn-burner a little into September for any stragglers, especially for those Users who are writing extremely long Featured Articles for the project.

I should also notify participants of a recent Consensus Track over weapons that is about to pass. The CT is over when we should fill in the "Owners" field for Template:Weapon. Right now, it seems as if we are leaning towards filling in the field for unique weapon types, and not filling in the field for general weapon types. As such, we should fix any weapons we have, or will, write for the barn-burner to fit these new parameters. Thanks you for reading this, and keep up the good work. Kilson 09:38, August 15, 2011 (UTC)

Kao Cen Darach

Hey Trayus, just getting back to you. While I do agree that it would be nice to have some image variety, I was hoping you had something of Darach in combat instead of his dead body, as most of the article text deals with the actual duel. Other than that, feel free to switch the image at your leisure! Thanks for consulting me first! JethLordMaster 02:27, August 19, 2011 (UTC)

Death Troopers SWG

Hi Lord Trayus,

I'd be willing to help out with info on Death Troopers in SWG. Unfortunately, this is one of the few things in SWG I have not done fully. However, I hope to get a group together to do as much content there as possible. I did also take screenshots of many NPC's and dialogue, but lack info on people and quests inside the depths of the laboratory.

Basically in SWG, the quest follows an area of Dathomir quarantined by the Empire. It is called the Quarantine Zone. Inside are many undead characters (some named), and some survivors trying to fend off the undead until they can be rescued. They're closed off inside several camps (Camp Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, Epsilon). In the game you can do a number of side quests, like bringing survivors to the camps, delivering supplies to other camps, or fending off zombie attacks on camps. You can also find and collect little knick-knacks, or get awards for killing off some powerful undead creatures.

I forget the story-line; and I haven't finished it anyways (I may have screenshots explaining the beginning). I think it may have to do simply with rescueing the occupants from the zone. There's also some Undead Rancor in the place which players can kill (it's sort of like a game raid). And they're awarded with a Blackwing Crystal if they do so. There may be some more info on the SWG Wiki or elsewhere online, but if there's anything else I can help with, let me know. I'll find out more in the meantime. StarsiderSWG 22:41, August 23, 2011 (UTC)

 • Hi again. Some Undead species include Human, Twi'lek, Rodian, Mon Calamari, Bothan, Wookiees, Trandoshan, Sullustan, Ithorian. Those are all species the player can be -- so I'd also assume Zabrak, but I cannot remember seeing one. There are also Undead Nightsisters, so I guess you can throw Dathomiri in there too. There may be more. As for animals, the only one I'm aware of is the Undead Rancor. The following link provides some pictures of Undead Bosses which players can killed. These ones are named, and I do not think many, if any have articles yet: http://swg.wikia.com/wiki/Undead_BossStarsiderSWG 23:54, August 23, 2011 (UTC)

Gor update

Hey Trayus! Haven't talked in a while. Just to let you know, the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Comic UK 6.24 (which has a little new info on Gor, mostly about his armor) is available for download here. Let me know if you need any help. CC7567 20:42, August 24, 2011 (UTC)

Death Troopers Screenshots

Sure, I'll get you some screenshots as soon as I can. StarsiderSWG 21:58, September 29, 2011 (UTC)

 • By the way, is there some way to e-mail or send you a word document? I'm copying the images of the quest dialogue into the document since I think it would be easier to send to you as a single file. Anyways, sorry this is taking so long. I've also be preoccupied taking final screenshots during the final month of the game. StarsiderSWG 22:42, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Katuunko

Hey Trayus. I believe the Encylopedia info was the "Savage Opress" part under the Relationships section, which states that the reason Opress was sent to capture Katuunko was because Dooku wanted to force him into siding with the Separatists; right now, I believe only Dooku's grudge is mentioned in the article as the reason for Opress's assignment, not this new detail. Regarding the Incredible Vehicles info: that was mainly stuff about the Thief's Eye, so I'll leave it to you to decide whether it's notable for Katuunko's article. I'll get that info to you ASAP, which should be after I get home tonight. CC7567 01:16, October 5, 2011 (UTC)

Okay, here's all the stuff on Katuunko from Incredible Vehicles:

 • : In order to win the confidence of King Katuunko, an important ally in the war, Yoda agrees that he and his troopers will take on Asajj Ventress's droid soldiers and battle tanks on Rugosa. To defeat the droids and their AATs, Yoda plans to use the moon's petrified coral forests as a defense against the Separatist armor.
 • Thief's Eye: This luxurious star yacht is fit for a king—Toydaria's King Katuunko. It radiates wealth and exclusivity, from its gold and sapphire finish to its streamlined hull. Inside, the cabins are stylishly finished in greelwood and Apokan silveroak.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with. CC7567 02:54, October 5, 2011 (UTC)

On a separate Katuunko note, I wanted to inquire if you would be interested in updating the infobox image. The promotional shot from the Encyclopedia to me seems a much better option. I've got it cropped down to a headshot, similar to the one currently used, but the color is better because you don't have the Rugosa sky altering the overall tone if his skin - the image is just more vibrant. Let me know. - JMAS 23:09, October 5, 2011 (UTC)

 • Oh yea, go for it JMAS. Darth Trayus 01:20, October 6, 2011 (UTC)

Re:Hutta

Hey Trayus! Thanks for creating the navbox template! :) Regarding Hutta, the mission was mentioned in Chapter 4 of Star Wars: The Old Republic: Fatal Alliance:

Fird

Hey Trayus, I was wondering if you have any immediate/long-term plans to work on Fird. (I was hoping to make it a GA until I realized you had already claimed it.) If you do have plans, it's cool; if not, might I persuade you to let me steal it, since I have the Atlas handy? ;) Grand Moff Tranner 01:21, October 12, 2011 (UTC)

 • Well, if you're working on articles related to the Outer Expansion Zone, I'll leave him to you. There are plenty of other things from the Atlas I want to tackle anyway. Grand Moff Tranner 14:46, October 12, 2011 (UTC)

Congrats on another fantastic The Old Republic FA, Trayus. You're our foremost Great Galactic War scholar, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Keep 'em coming! Menkooroo 13:03, October 16, 2011 (UTC)

Jedi Heroes and Arda

Hey Trayus. Regarding The Clone Wars: Jedi Heroes: there's some new info on Nahdar Vebb, mostly minor P&T info, that I left in the mainspace article for your use. Also, Jedi Heroes has some new information about Eeth Koth, which might be applicable to the Prelude of the Battle near the Arda system? Up to you, but here it is:

Separatist hunter

 • "Jedi Master Eeth Koth has an important role to play during the Clone Wars. His mission? To hunt out Separatists. He spends his time leading a task force tracking down enemies of the Republic in the Outer Rim of the galaxy. Unfortunately, Grievous ambushes Koth's cruiser and commando droids take the Jedi prisoner. The Separatist general tortures Koth, but Grievous has forgotten that Eeth Koth is a Zabrak. Like all Zabrak, he has supreme mental strength and can withstand great pain. He stays strong, even when Grievous is electrocuting him."

Let me know if you have any questions or if there's any way I can help. :) CC7567 03:56, November 2, 2011 (UTC)

 • Oh, sorry, forgot one more thing: "Grievous plans to use Koth to lure more Jedi into a trap." I'm not sure if that could already be assumed from "Grievous Intrigue," but you might consider incorporating that into Arda and Saleucami if you see fit. CC7567 05:08, November 2, 2011 (UTC)

Hey Trayus. Just wanted to let you know (in case you missed it) that there's also a UK Comic update needed for EV-A4-D. I left the info in the article, so let me know if you have any questions. Thanks. CC7567 04:29, November 4, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Death Troopers

Hi Trayus. Sure, I'll see what I can do. But it's been a year or two since I did the Death troopers missions and I think I never did the last two or three quests of the story line (too hard to do without a good group). So I'm not sure if I'm missing any information about the background of the outbreak. I'll search for my screenshots and see if I can piece together what happened there. Might take a while though, I'm busy taking screenshots of all the locations, NPCs, etc.. in the game at the moment and try to do a few unfinished quests before it's shut down next month. --Craven 23:16, November 11, 2011 (UTC)

Sacking of Coruscant

Oh I think I got it mixed up with the Sacking of Coruscant, I will change it --Darth Deon 23:48, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

Possibly

But I don't think that wuss Kaan and Kopecz had it in them--Darth Deon 23:57, November 12, 2011 (UTC)

Yea possibly Ruin or Rivan, or some other Sith Lord, but it could be Kaan or Kopecz that might have attacked Coruscant but I don't think it was involved during the New Sith Wars, Bane could not have attacked Coruscant, because he and Zannah were in hiding. --Darth Deon 00:02, November 13, 2011 (UTC)

Umbaran militia

Hi Trayus. Recently, I was asked the source of the term "Umbaran militia" by an individual offsite. I searched the episode guides for a little while, but didn't successfully find anything, and encouraged him to ask in the KB, which he did. Unfortunately, this individual has taken my own failure to find anything, and the lack of response to the KB thread, as "proof" that the term "Umbaran militia" isn't canon. I see that you removed the conjecture template and have otherwise substantially edited the Umbaran militia article, so if you happen to know specifically where the term originates (I know it's supposed to be somewhere in the Episode Guides, but not precisely which page or slideshow frame), I would appreciate it if you would chime in on the aforementioned KB thread. Thanks. :-) jSarek 13:39, November 23, 2011 (UTC)

Re: UK 6.20

Happy Thanksgiving to you too. :) I got the info from page 11 (Season Three Quiz, Part One), from the "Pursuit of Peace" question. It says "Padmé wins support in the Senate with her account of how the war has affected one of her handmaidens." I took that to mean that many senators joined Padmé in her opposition to Burtoni's bill following the speech, though we know it was eventually passed. ("Pursuit of Peace," I thought, did a much better job with the politics than "Senate Murders," seeing as it came almost an entire season later. :P) Hope that helps. CC7567 08:06, November 25, 2011 (UTC)

 • He does have an entry in the book, but it's up to you to decide whether it's unique: "A Senator from Umbara, Mee Deechi is a close ally of Burtoni, and opposes any attempt to cut funding for the fight against the Separatists." The entry on Umbarans states: "A thin, pale species of near-humans, Umbarans dwell on a shadowy world within the Expansion Region's Ghost Nebula. Their eyes can see in the ultraviolet spectrum." If anything, you should be able to use this as a source for his homeworld instead of having to resort to Facebook. :P CC7567 09:04, November 25, 2011 (UTC)

Mee Deechi

I see you already uploaded one of the images of Mee Deechi requested. I discovered that all my HD episodes got corrupted somehow, so I'm in the process of redownloading them. I'll have the rest of them done tomorrow. - JMAS 04:08, November 27, 2011 (UTC)

 • Was able to get them finished sooner than anticipated. Here ya go. I know the one of his stabbed isn't from the front, but this shows enough of him, shows the knife, and the horrified looks on Padmé and Bail's faces. Again, sorry for the delay. - JMAS 05:25, November 27, 2011 (UTC)

Re: Template help

It should be fixed now. For some reason, the parameter name was capitalized, so didn't work, but would've. Should work in lowercase now. :) Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 10:51, November 29, 2011 (UTC)

I'm in, Lord Trayus. We need to develop a plan of action ASAP. Email me when you have a moment.

The Old Republic Codex etc.

Hey, Trayus. I saw your message to Lost-Malachi about the codex not being an independent source. I agree with you, but unless we specify where something is in our listing of The Old Republic to various Appearances lists, it's going to be next to impossible for someone later down the line to find it. Do you think it might be a good idea to require some sort of indicator of where something appears, at least for obscure stuff that only appears in one class's story, or only appears in the codex? Even if it's perhaps commented out with <!--this syntax-->? ~Savage 15:30, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

 • Ah, thank the maker. I'm a bit intimidated by a game where each chapter of each class's story is supposed to be as big at KOTOR was as a whole... ~Savage 00:32, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Barn-burner

Just wanted to encourage everyone participating in December's barn-burner on Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace to keep up the hard work! Only two articles have been passed, but five are currently nominated, and I suspect numerous projects are underway. The month is over halfway through, so we need to hurry and finish as many articles as we can before the end of the month. Keep writing and keep reviewing! Also, don't forget about the current CT on Databank entries in the "Sources" section, as many articles will have to be updated to meet the new criteria. I thank all of you for taking part in this project and working to make the site better for the release of The Phantom Menace in 3-D in February, and I'm confident the results will be satisfactory. Anyway, just keep...doing what you're doing. :P MasterFred 20:25, December 21, 2011 (UTC)

Chancery Election

Hey Trayus,

I found some mentions of the election in a couple of obscure sources. I doubt if there's any new info, but just in case, here's what they have to say:

 • A Guide to the Star Wars Universe, Second Edition: As a senator in the Old Republic, Palpatine was an unassuming man serving at a time of widespread corruption and social injustice. The massive bureaucracy of the Republic had grown twisted and sickly over the span of generations. Like an immense tree with decaying roots, the Republic appeared strong but was slowly dying from within. To appease the member worlds who saw the galactic government as nothing more than a useless burden, the Senate offered up a promising young politician who seemed perfect for keeping the union together. Senator Palpatine appeared to lack drive and ambition, for he had remained apart from the political corruption that racked the Senate. Those who needed a stable government in place to continue their plundering believed they could use Palpatine as a figurehead, teaching him to smile obediently for the holomedia. Those who genuinely wanted to save the Republic saw him as a compromising candidate who would serve as a puppet leader, following and implementing their plans to repair the system. Palpatine, however, had his own ideas.Palpatine exceeded everyone's expectations after he was elected as head of the Senatorial Council and President of the Republic. He got the wheels of government turning again after long periods of inactivity. He stepped forward as a great leader who inspired trust and commitment. During the time of jubilation, promise, and hope that followed Palpatine's election, he slowly introduced the New Order and declared himself Emperor. The brief period of hope and light quickly turned dark as tyranny spread across the galaxy. The Empire was born.

 • : In the years prior to the current era, corruption, greed, and internal strife began to destroy the Old Republic from within. Special-interest groups and power-hungry individuals accomplished what no outside threat ever could --- they weakened the galactic government and gave rise to apathy, social injustice, ineffectiveness, and chaos. To reverse this destructive trend, or at least give the impression that something was being done, both sides elected a compromising candidate to serve as president of the Senate. For all his promises and plans, the newly elected Senator Palpatine quickly named himself Emperor, abolished the Republic, and began a reign of terror and even greater social injustice based upon his dark vision of a New Order. The Old Republic passed away, and the Empire was born.

 • Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide: Special Edition (and by extension, Star Wars: The Ultimate Visual Guide): In the Senate, Chancellor Finis Valorum (center left) asks Amidala if she will allow a commission to investigate her accusations against the Neimoidians. Unfortunately, Senator Palpatine has convinced Amidala that Valorum is an ineffective leader, and she moves for a "vote of no confidence" that leads to the election of a new Chancellor.

 • Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace: The Official Souvenir Magazine: The Queen is similarly frustrated as she implores the Senate to intervene in Naboo's dire situation. Finally, she agrees to Palpatine's proposal. After the no-confidence vote in Valorum passes, neither she nor the government officials suspect anything sinister when Palpatine is nominated to succeed Valorum as Supreme Chancellor of the Republic.

 • : When Valorum was replaced by Chancellor Palpatine, Taria did not continue her role.

I might be able to dig up more later, but I hope that helps for now! Menkooroo 13:09, December 22, 2011 (UTC)

Raid on SIS's Nar Shaddaa listening post

Hey Trayus! On this list you've added Raid on SIS's Nar Shaddaa listening post as an event that first appeared in Star Wars: The Old Republic. However, in The Old Republic—The Lost Suns 2Star Wars: The Old Republic 8: The Lost Suns, Part 2, the SIS Director says to Theron Shan: "The Empire shut down an S.I.S. station on Nar Shaddaa last week, [..]." Could these two events be the same? If so, the link to the raid should probably be moved to immediately before the Mission to the Vesla system in the Cold War template. Thanks! Codex entries for Sacking of Coruscant

Hey, I saw you were updating the Sacking of Coruscant article so here are some, OK a lot :), of codex entries from the game that may be of use to you if you don't have them already. The titles to the entries are as they appear in-game:

 • Sacking of Coruscant: A pivotal moment in recent galactic history, the Sacking of Coruscant was a swift and merciless attack on the Republic capital that began with an offer of peace. The Sith Empire, having fought the Republic for decades since its surprise return, suddenly contacted the Republic Senate to propose a treaty. Although the Republic was suspicious, the war had stretched its capabilities and resources to a breaking point. Peace seemed the only hope of survival. Diplomats from both sides traveled to Alderaan to discuss the treaty, but the Empire was already making its move. An Imperial fleet descended on Coruscant and launched a massive orbital bombardment against the city. As the Sith Lord Darth Malgus marched into the Jedi Temple, other Imperial forces captured the Senate tower. The entire planet was effectively held hostage. Knowing that "peace negotiations" were over, the Supreme Chancellor reluctantly signed the Treaty of Coruscant, dictated by the Empire. Although years of uneasy peace have followed, the Sacking of Coruscant remains a vivid and painful memory for the Republic; for the Empire, one of its greatest victories.
 • Reconstruction of Coruscant: The Republic capital was the Empire’s final target during the war, and the bombs dropped in the Sacking of Coruscant left large swathes of the city in ruins. The reconstruction effort began almost immediately after the Empire’s withdrawal, but in a crowded city-world where skyscrapers can be kilometers high, simply demolishing one safely can take months. Although donations flowed freely from the Republic, corruption and political squabbling caused further delays. Finally, Vanara Kayl, Senator for Coruscant, gave an impassioned speech claiming that deliberate interference in Coruscant’s rebuilding verged on treason. Impressed by her fervor, the Supreme Chancellor gave Senator Kayl full authority over the reconstruction efforts, which have proceeded relatively smoothly ever since.
 • Black Sun: Black Sun is a powerful crime syndicate that rose to prominence on Coruscant in the latter days of the war. Taking advantage of the chaos and rioting in the city after the planet’s sacking, several gangsters joined forces and began seizing control of lower-city neighborhoods. The origin of the syndicate’s name is unclear, but a common phrase among despairing Coruscant citizens was "better a black sun than none." Alas, hopes that Black Sun would bring order instead of anarchy died quickly. For Black Sun, the rioting and looting never really stopped. Although the gangsters have profitable spice- and weapons-trafficking operations, their members, almost to a man, have an extraordinary taste for violence. Civilians are extorted until they have nothing left to extort; afterwards, they’re used for target practice. City blocks are incinerated for the pleasure of demolitionists. Despite the efforts of the Justicars’ Brigade, Black Sun has become a force to be reckoned with. The Republic Senate has begun to realize the threat Black Sun represents, but with the syndicate’s influence already beginning to stretch beyond Coruscant, stopping it may be impossible.
 • Coruscant Security: Republic member worlds are required to maintain civilian law enforcement organizations, overseen by their planetary governments instead of the Galactic Senate. Coruscant Security is one of the oldest planetary police forces in the Republic and has a reputation for effectiveness, diversity and (on the whole) positive relations with Coruscant’s population. The Sacking of Coruscant took a toll on Coruscant Security–both in lives lost and burnout as years of rebuilding, riot control and military intervention followed. The rise of major criminal syndicates on Coruscant has embittered many young recruits, and frustrated veterans who were trained to track and arrest individuals, not fight block by block to reclaim territory from gangs. Some say that unless Coruscant Security is given quasi-military training and heavy equipment, it will eventually be overwhelmed by the planet’s problems. Few security officers favor such extreme measures, however–they joined the force to keep the peace, not to fight a war in the streets of the planet they love.
 • The Justicars: Formally known as the Justicars’ Brigade, this militia was formed in the years after the Sacking of Coruscant, when a crime syndicate began seizing control of Coruscant’s lower regions. The Republic Senate lacked the resources to challenge the syndicate–later called Black Sun–and withdrew its security forces. Outraged at Black Sun’s treatment of the local citizens, a group of ex-military individuals formed the Justicars, intending to retake their neighborhoods. However, eliminating Black Sun and regaining control proved more difficult than the Justicars had expected. They took extreme measures to restore order, beginning with a simple curfew and culminating in the imposition of martial law. The Justicars have now instituted checkpoints and armed guards throughout their territory, acting with lethal force against anyone lacking "proper clearance." Their unshakeable belief that this is necessary to keep people safe only makes the Justicars more dangerous. Coruscant’s government has declared the Justicars a threat to be dismantled, and the Justicars have cut off all communication with outsiders.
 • Migrant Merchants' Guild: On paper, the Migrant Merchants’ Guild is a legitimate trade consortium that advocates for refugee rights and supports the Coruscant reconstruction effort. In reality, the Migrant Merchants’ Guild is a highly organized crime syndicate that seized power during the riots at the old Galactic Market after the war. Even before the war’s end, the guild served as a front for money laundering and goods smuggling, but kept mostly to nonviolent crime. Its membership was primarily nonhuman, and represented a powerful economic force inside Coruscant’s nonhuman immigrant population. When riots broke out, the guild saw an opportunity to claim real power; after security forces withdrew, it was the guild that re-established "order" with its armed goons and provided food and supplies… at a price. Since then, the Migrant Merchants’ Guild has expanded into bribery and extortion, with the old Galactic Market at the heart of its territory, all the while keeping a thin veneer of respectability. Republic security patrols often clash with members of the Migrant Merchants’ Guild in an attempt to keep the peace, but recently the guild has been moving its influence from shaking down local businesses to Coruscant politics.

Hope they help! Coruscantfan 14:56, January 13, 2012 (UTC)

Belth Allusis

Hi, Trayus. As the project lead of WP: TOR, I figure you're the right person to ask for help. Do you have access to The Journal of Master Gnost-Dural or TOR itself? I have neither, but I don't want the article to lose its status. If you could provide me with the missing info, I'd appreciate that. 20:48, January 14, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Cite TOR

Ah, I was wondering if we had one but for some reason I couldn't find it. Thanks! Coruscantfan 03:03, January 16, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Luceno

That's awesome. Thanks a lot for the heads-up. Is it bad that the first question that came to mind was "Can you tell me when you got married so that I can properly place it in your bio?" :P Menkooroo 23:27, January 23, 2012 (UTC)

Restraint

Hey Trayus—how you doing? I know you've been busy with TOR and all (I haven't been able to budget enough funds to get the game myself and don't think I'll ever be able to :P), but when you get the chance I would highly recommend getting your hands on a copy of Restraint, which integrates more elements of Ventress's previous backstory from Hate and Fear, after Narec is killed and she becomes a warlord against Osika Kirske. There's a Vollick warlord who appears in Star Wars: The Wrath of Darth Maul (I bet you know why I got that :P), and he's identified as Kirske in Restraint, both of which would be worth getting if you get the chance. If you have problems, shoot me an email and I'll see if I can get some info to you. Talk to you soon. :) CC7567 21:24, January 28, 2012 (UTC)

Re:Vindican

I don't have access to the game yet so any help would be great. :P I'm still looking to see if Vindican received a mention in the game or received some backstory info. JangFett 05:20, January 30, 2012 (UTC)

 • Thanks a lot man. :P I also don't mind the quote change. JangFett 16:16, August 25, 2012 (UTC)

Roo-Roo Page

In the new entry for Gungans in the Encyclopedia on SW.com. there is a great promotional shot of Roo-Roo in the rotating header. I've got it cropped down, and edited out the tiny bit of her mother's mouth from the edge of the crop. As nominator who took the article to GA status, would you be OK with me replacing the infobox image? - JMAS 06:40, February 4, 2012 (UTC)

 • Of course, that's totally fine. Darth Trayus 21:43, February 4, 2012 (UTC)

Shae Vizla

Hey Trayus, thanks for the info on Shae. Don't worry about the slow response, that's my fault. If I wanted something speedier, I probably shouldn't have asked on a relatively new and obscure character's talk page. lol Any quotes you could give me would be great, since the Deceived novel was pretty slim pickings in that area. Also, those pictures sound interesting. If you could upload them, or know anyone else who can upload them, or know of anywhere online I could find them, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again! :D Bella'Mia 07:24, February 7, 2012 (UTC)

Deities?!

Hi Trayus. I see you've added the Deities category to the Son and Daughter articles. I'm curious, when was that ever established? They're mysterious, extremely powerful Force-users for sure, but I don't recall them ever being identified as gods.... – DigiFluid 22:39, February 15, 2012 (UTC)

Ah, I see. I've only just finished the Malgus section myself. I was genuinely not expecting them to be mentioned! – DigiFluid 00:15, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

WP: SW:TOR

Hey Trayus, just a quick question about how we should handle the possible divergent paths in articles. Specifically I was wondering how we should handle the romance aspects of companion characters, as neither a gender nor an alignment has been confirmed for any of the player characters. Should it be included as a behind the scenes thing, or under an assumption tag? On a slightly related note, what alignments are we assuming (if any) when we write about topics that have different conclusions based on player choices? Thanks! JethLordMaster 04:25, March 1, 2012 (UTC)

Wampas

Hey Trayus. I saw you added the update tag to the wampa article regarding new info in TOR some days ago. Since you're pretty much the only person who has the game and is dishing out info, AFAIK, I was hoping to ask you for some idea of what wampas do in there that will need to be added. Toprawa and Ralltiir 01:38, March 2, 2012 (UTC)

 • Excellent, thank you for that. I've been scrounging through some YouTube videos of TOR Hoth level walkthroughs. I just completed watching a Sith Assassin Hoth level (not sure if there is only one, or multiple), which didn't show the player encountering any wampas, and I'm going to go through some Jedi player walkthroughs tomorrow. Do you know if there is any specific player alignment that encounters the wampa in that mission that I should keep an eye out for its video? Toprawa and Ralltiir 06:17, March 2, 2012 (UTC)
 • Citation formatting question for you. I'm curious how you have been, or would otherwise prefer, citing certain in-game missions. For example, there is one titled "Wampa Smash" that is really a sub-mission of the overall "The Bone Pits" mission. Would you prefer we cite by individual sub-missions or the central parent mission? I'm glad to go with whatever you think best as TOR project head. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:28, March 3, 2012 (UTC)

Dark Lord Trayus, I could really use some help. I have no idea how to change my avatar's photo. Considering how... decorated you are, I suspect you know how to do this. If you have any advice on the matter that would be great. But don't mention the Facebook part, I've already tried. Of course, all of this is assuming that with your many posts you received, you ever get to my message. If you do, please contact me on my page.

LEGO Star Wars III

Hey Trayus, hope all's well. Regarding the updates to LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars: they come mainly from the PSP version, which may or may not have new info on your articles (Peppi Bow and Bolla Ropal, I believe). Seth danny has the PSP version and is the person to contact to see if there's new info. I know you're swamped with TOR stuff right now, so if there's anything I can do let me know. Hope that helps. CC7567 18:57, March 4, 2012 (UTC)

 • Is that yay, you're looking forward to Maul being back, or yay, you're glad it's almost over? :P It's a bit of both for me. Oh, and I hope you're happy with Ventress… I read somewhere that Filoni didn't intend to adapt Obsession for the TV series, so I don't know whether that means they're avoiding an adaptation or just ignoring it canon-wise altogether. WP:TOR

Well, it's complicated. Do I play the game? No. Obsessively watch YouTube Let's Plays of it looking for game info and potential QOTDs? Hell yes. Clearly the TOR work is going slowly. Seems like every time I find a decent QOTD, I've got another redlink to worry about. So I don't have the game, can't afford it, can't afford the upgrade my computer would need to play it, but I'm as informed as YouTube lets me be. Enochf 22:23, March 11, 2012 (UTC)

IRC for TOR articles

Hey, Trayus. I realize you're swamped with everything, especially now the TOR is finally out, but I had a couple of things I wanted to discuss with you about TOR articles. I was hoping maybe you could drop in the IRC sometime, and we could discuss it. I'm not sure what your schedule is and when you'd be available to get on. I'm on right now and will be for a little bit longer. Whenever you think you have a chance to get on, though, let me know and I'll try to be there. Thanks.—Cal Jedi 01:39, March 15, 2012 (UTC)

 • Alternatively, if you don't have time to hop on the IRC, feel free to drop me an email, and we can discuss it there.—Cal Jedi 20:01, March 15, 2012 (UTC)

TOR Guild

Hey, I'd be willing to help with the TOR guild if I can: My schedule is kind of all over the place, so I'm not sure when I'll be available (I saw your meeting discussion on the forum) but I can still help with confirming information and getting screenshots etc. I've got a Jedi Knight at 28 but he's already with another guild, and a smuggler on Coruscant at 10 which I'm not really "playing" to advance just using to get info on Coruscant/CSF/SIS. I've also got a bounty hunter on Dromund Kaas. So if I can help in some way let me know. Thanks. Coruscantfan 21:08, March 19, 2012 (UTC)

TOR inquiry

Hey Trayus, I noticed you're heading up the TOR WookieeProject and wanted some info on something. I've been hearing rumblings that the article may be fanon. Any chance you or one of your project editors could look into this claim? Many thanks, - Cavalier One 22:11, March 21, 2012 (UTC)

TOR Guild Meetup

Hey, Trayus, just a reminder that we're going to meet tomorrow at 12 PM EST on the Wall of Light server to start up our Wookieepedia guilds (Republic and Empire). We'll start off with our Republic characters on Coruscant, where we'll form the guild and add any alts we may have. Then we'll switch over to our Empire characters to form the Empire guild on Dromund Kaas. We should also hash out rules for how or if we intend to recruit new players while we're all online together. Again, that's 12 PM EST on Coruscant. See you there! ~Savage 00:13, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

Wookieecookie

Thanks for the Wookieecookie Trayus! It really means alot. I'll keep uploading screen shots as fast as I can since I have loads. If you need any ask and I'll see if I have them. Ayrehead02 22:58, March 25, 2012 (UTC)

Re: SIS

Thanks! This will help A LOT!! I was starting to get a little frazzled realizing that I would probably need to go through every character line to find all the missions. If you could add something else to the forum: If during the game people see SIS agents/facilities, please take screenshots of them and create articles for them. While I could probably find pictures of some of the them online, it would help so that the article doesn't get overwhelmed with redlinks and lack of images. Categories for the characters, images, and other SIS articles have already been created. Again thanks a lot for the help! Coruscantfan 14:04, March 27, 2012 (UTC)

New Project People

Re: Warfare

Lucky—it isn't yet available at my local B&N, which is like the only good book store in my area, so I ordered it from Amazon. I'll let you know if I can't get the info soon, though. Thanks as always. :) (I've been waiting for this Guide for a long time—it's one that guarantees Rex some relatively major role. Am I right?) CC7567 03:46, April 4, 2012 (UTC)

Skere Khan

Hello, Dark Lord Trayus. I saw you just reverted my edit on the Skere Khan article. This, I understand perfectly. Still, I wanted to make you know I wasn't trying to say it IS a direct reference to Kipling's character. I just wanted to make a note, similar to what is found in the Cosinga Palpatine BtS section. I won't be bothered if this edit is removed, but I wanted to make it clear I'm not goofing around trying to make silly edits -- it was done in good faith. Cheers. ;-) --LelalMekha 09:36, April 4, 2012 (UTC)

 • Thank you for your answer. I was less anxious to get my edit accepted than make things clear about my original intent. I do not feel it is important enough to be turned into a talk page debate, though I still might do it someday. Have a nice day, and please forgive my most outlandish English. ;-) --LelalMekha 09:51, April 4, 2012 (UTC)

Friend of Wookieepedia nomination

Hi, Trayus, I was wondering if you could support the nomination for the Star Wars PocketModel TCG official website to become formally associated with Wookieepedia. It is similar to the association that the SWCCG Continuation Committee enjoys, and since many articles link to the SWPM site, I thought that it would be nice to formalize that association. Thanks! —Gethralkin 13:18, April 4, 2012 (UTC)

The "this" thing

Hey Trayus, just dropping in to give you an update on the "this" issue. I don't know if you already saw all of this, but I made the same change on a nom over on the CAN, and it ended up with further discussion here. Bob found a definition that suggests that "this" has a connection to the present that's open to interpretation; I still think it shouldn't be used, but I can see the other side of the coin, so I won't make an objection out of it anymore. Cheers, Jonjedigrandmaster 21:32, April 5, 2012 (UTC)

 • That actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the input, and will do. :) Jonjedigrandmaster 14:58, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

TOR

In my own defense, I was just writing and expanding them to provide content–whether that meant on their own pages, or if they got merged into the main TOR article. I don't really care either way, I was just surprised to see the move happen so quickly after last night :p – DigiFluid 13:14, April 13, 2012 (UTC)

SIS FA nom updating

Hey, what's up. Since you're the project leader I wanted to get your thoughts first: So Menkooroo under objections was stating that if it would take more than 3 weeks to fully update the SIS article as a nom, it should be taken down and nominated later. And honestly his request is legitimate. When I originally nominated this, it was basically just the comics and I didn't realize how much the SIS would be a part of the game. As I've been going through the walkthroughs for other classes such as Imperial agent and smuggler, I seriously doubt that the article could be completely updated with every mission in 3 weeks even with several of us contributing to the SIS forum. Also, I'll be on a month long trip soon with little to no internet access during that time making any dedicated article-updating-time impossible. If possible, I'd like to keep the forum open to allow others to still contribute and then later bring the article back for FA nom. Thoughts? Coruscantfan 01:16, April 15, 2012 (UTC)

Rimma

Trayus! You did a great Rimma job. We'd love to see more of your work on the FAN page. Nom them! Nom them all!!! Menkooroo 04:45, April 18, 2012 (UTC)

TOR info

You may or may not find this useful, but here is a set of text string lists extracted from the latest TOR build. The info is mostly available elsewhere, but these files should save you some tedious searching of places like TORHead, etc. -- Darth Culator 15:23, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

 • That is, actually, incredibly useful. Thanks a ton Culator. Darth Trayus 19:30, April 21, 2012 (UTC)

Re: LEGO Star Wars PSP

Hey Trayus. Sorry for answering late but I just saw the message and I guess the mail alerts don't work like they used to.

Sadly, there isn't much info about Bolla Ropal, but I'll answer as best I can. In the game he appears only as an unlockable character. He is wearing a simple dark brown Jedi tunic and, like I said on his talk page, he is wielding a blue lightsaber, opposed to his green one, depicted in The Clone Wars: Act on Instinct. Maybe this can be added in BTS. Same with Peppi Bow, except she looks no different from the show or comics.--Seth danny 19:00, April 24, 2012 (UTC)

hey,log on when you get a chance, need to discuss some stuff.

 • Hey Trayus, Tommy's online right now on the Imperial side. CadeCalrayn 02:14, April 26, 2012 (UTC)

Hylo Visz, again

OK, so apparently even though Hylo doesn't exist as a speaking character, she does get talked about, and it's a biggie:

 • Twelvth Conversation with Gault Rennow - Exes and Ohs YouTubeTORHead
 • Thirteenth Conversation with Gault Rennow - The One That Got Away YouTubeTORHead
 • Fourteenth Conversation with Gault Rennow - Partners in Crime YouTubeTORHead

I've also packed up the entire Gault Rennow string file here. It might be hard to make sense of it, since parts are a bit out of order, but those videos seem to cover the entire narrative anyway. Also, one of the bounty hunter's targets was identified as a member of Visz's blockade running fleet, but he doesn't seem significant and that mission provides no details about Hylo herself. Now, this should be the last word on her, since I can now search the entire string tree. -- Darth Culator 22:41, April 30, 2012 (UTC)

SWTOR Guild Recruitment

Hey DLT,

I'm currently in the process of implementing a sitenotice that will hopefully encourage current SWTOR playing Wookieepedians to migrate to our server to join and participate within the guild. I'd like to discuss this, as well as other guild-related issues, in detail with you, Bob, and Cade. For unknown reasons, I am unable to access my account, so my only form of real time conversation is IRC at this point. Please let me know if/when you will be available for all of us to meet briefly. I am hoping for this weekend, depending on responses from our other guild founders. Thanks,

 • Hey tommy, I'll try to get on this weekend. Weekdays are difficult for me, so lets aim for sometime either Saturday or Sunday. Darth Trayus 01:27, May 3, 2012 (UTC)

WotM

Why thank you! I saw 501st add his name in the morning, and it made my day fun :) I'll probably vote for Purpilia, anyway—he's gone longer without recognition. I'll wait till July.

Also, have we set a meeting time yet? I think all four of us are free most of the weekend. Plus, have you seen this update ? I bet it's what Tommy wants to talk about. Cade Calrayn 01:56, May 4, 2012 (UTC)

I need you to log in some point soon to the imperial side and meet up with me, there some administrative things I need to take care of. I also would lime you to switch me to gm on the imperial side for the time being, mainly since I am always on. Let me know when is good, and I'll be there. Thanks,

Hello Trayus, I see you still have the inuse tag for Jace Malcom, and have still not updated him. Just to give you a heads up that the Inqmoot is tomorrow, so hopefully you can finish him before then. Hanzo Hasashi 14:21, May 25, 2012 (UTC)

Sourcing

Hey Bob, Ecks has built us a new version of TORCite on User:Xd1358/test. I think it looks great—should we put it to a vote or just announce that we're updating it? I looked at the "what links here" for TORCite currently, and it's under 500 pages. Changing that many's... doable, I think. Cade Calrayn 22:28, May 30, 2012 (UTC)

 • Hmm... I don't think we should just overwrite the old template, because it'll screw up too many pages. What if we made the new template "TOR Cite" or something similar, and just went through the pages with TORCite and changed them to the new template? Then we could just delete the old one. CadeCalrayn 22:39, May 30, 2012 (UTC)

SWTOR guild server transfer

In case you missed the announcement on the forum, server transfer has arrived for the Wall of Light server! Bioware has selected our destination for us: The Harbinger. To move your characters, log in to your account on the official swtor.com website, go to "My account" and you should see the option for character transfers. The process is incredibly quick (took about 5 minutes in my case), and The Harbinger seems to have a vibrant community that should serve us well. See you on The Harbinger! ~Savage 21:41, June 13, 2012 (UTC)

Surik

Good to hear from ya, friend! The sooner Surik is done, the better. Anyway, to answer your question, well, I typically attacked the articles outright, broke down and built from the foundation of the original article. This isn't the first time I've worked on Surik before, because most of the info from the section "The Dark Wars" came from me. It's similar to what I'm doing for Revan here, only less exhaustive. Maybe it should be a bit more. One thing I know is that the article definitely needs more images, that should not be a problem. I also wanted to run an idea by you; how would putting a template on the top of the article which briefly explains the Surik name sound, since the source for her name didn't come out for a good seven years?

When I did not have internet on a regular basis, I typically used the my Notepad to create files where I could work on the articles at home, then copy and paste the work to the site. I still do that, admittedly, is why I have a lower edit count than some people who have been on here as long. Anyway, let me know what ya wanna do, you know you can always reach me here, which is more true than ever because of my circumstances, and I believe you have my e-mail. We'll get her through, friend.—Jedi Kasra 12:33, June 20, 2012 (UTC)

 • And yeah, linking is another thing we need to look out for. I suppose an image gallery, quote, etc, wouldn't be a bad idea to place on the bottom of the page.—Jedi Kasra 12:34, June 20, 2012 (UTC)

House Palpatine TC

Hey, Trayus. The House Palpatine massacre TC has been closed with a consensus to delete and merge. TOR date

Hey, Trayus,

I have a question for ya. I saw your comment here, and I'm wondering --- is there no date provided within The Old Republic? Would you be able to support/contradict me here, so that Winterz isn't overwhelmed on his first GAN? Thanks. :) Menkooroo 05:59, June 25, 2012 (UTC)

Re: Mee Deechi

Hey Trayus. No, Deechi isn't mentioned in "Darkness" as far as I know—in fact, the episode itself doesn't acknowledge the fact that Umbara was once part of the Republic. Only the Encyclopedia entries do, and I believe they're all listed in the article. Hope that helps. And also, great to see you back in TCW—hope TOR didn't totally take your spirit away. :P CC7567 02:18, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for taking care of the minor issues in the restored Pong article. I hope I didn't edit conflict you since I was fixing the source list. JangFett 00:17, July 2, 2012 (UTC)

 • Thanks and same. I need to find some spare time to finish him and be done with it. :P Also, I see that this needs an update. Does he actually appear in the game or is he just mentioned? I'm not too familiar with TOR. JangFett 00:20, July 2, 2012 (UTC)

Battle of Bothawui

Hey, Trayus, I've started playing Calrayn on the Harbinger again on Balmorra. I was playing the Balmorra Republic questline and I encountered a Zabrak technician named Lem Karner. He's working with the Balmorran resistance in an attempt to locate the Barrager weapon, and he says "I was a front-lines tech in the Battle of Bothawui." I thought you should know, since the second battle's your FA. It's a bit of a conundrum, though, since the first battle's a naval engagement and the second battle results in the death of all of the Republic forces on the planet. Mal GA nom

Hey Trayus, just wanted to give you a heads up that the objections you posted under Mal's GA nom were addressed two weeks ago. If you could take another look that would be great. Thanks, cheers! Coruscantfan 06:23, July 17, 2012 (UTC)

Re:Desolator Crisis

Hey, you caught me just before I went to bed. No, not in my opinion - the crisis is one of those proxy conflicts (which by itself would give the crisis its own infobox and a single link at the bottom of ) that sparks the Second Great Galactic War, and it's large enough that it can get its own infobox, in my opinion. By my estimates, the Desolator Crisis article (a WIP) will probably be four to five times the size of my Flesh Raider uprising article.... that'll be fun to write.

Eventually, it'd be great if we could have articles for each of the Acts for all of the classes (though some could be combined if necessary). I've also been doing some mapping of the TOR class storylines using info off of the TOR forums, and I've been able to narrow down that the Consular storyline on Tython happened before the Knight storyline, because Ranna Tao'ven is referred to as the Matriarch's daughter throughout the Prologue, and the Flesh Raiders as a "growing threat". Also, using more logic and mapping, I've altered my personal project date-cite to this.

Oh, and another thing: I'm debating whether or not we should consider the Flashpoints to include the eight class characters... the Consular leaves Tython before the Knight, and yet they both arrive on the Esseles the same time... Stuff like that. Basically, the timelines can't match up and get all four characters on either side at the same location at the same times. But that's probably something we need to discuss as a project, as it's a larger issue. Thoughts? (on any of that stuff) Cade Calrayn 05:37, July 23, 2012 (UTC)

More 21 BBY dates

Hey Trayus. When you get the chance, please head on over to the Senate Hall—more battles/episodes have been dated to 21 BBY as the new timeline is getting implemented across the site. Please make sure to update the dating in your articles as needed. Thanks. CC7567 06:53, July 27, 2012 (UTC)

Plain in "Slaves"

Hey Trayus. Plain is seen at 2:26 (at least in the iTunes version) when Skywalker, Kenobi, Rex, and Ahsoka are walking into the Zygerrian slave market. He's talking to a Zygerrian, female by the looks of it—they're off to the side by themselves (other slave sellers/buyers are close by along the main drag). He doesn't have any lines, and I can't see him at the auction like Nix Card. Hope that helps. CC7567 04:12, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

 • I feel like we haven't worked on something together in a very long time… How about we do a joint project, like nominating articles from a certain subject? We could work simultaneously on nominating articles from, say, TCW politics/politicians. I know you already have Deechi and Plain up, and I'm working right now on Voe Atell and Yos Kolina (well, his politics extend as far as his leadership)—with possibly the Separatist Congress, Bec Lawise, and Kerch Kushi to follow, along with some of the minorbackgroundsenatorcharacters, with the added possibility of the By-Laws of Independent Systems and the Commerce Treaty of 1647. (If you had your eye on some of those, that's fine too.) If you're up for it, we could end the project once we've nominated everything that we planned to immediately work on. How's that sound? It would encourage me to get off my lazy butt and write more, as well. :P CC7567 20:47, August 1, 2012 (UTC)

Angral

Hey, Trayus: proposal for you. I'm planning on FAing Darth Angral, but the Great Galactic War stuff is giving me a writer's block. For one thing, I have no idea how to source have the info, since most of the Sacking appears in like half a dozen sources, and every time I try to write that part up it comes out bad or a copy of your Sacking article. So, the actual question: would you mind writing up that section? I'd credit you on the FA, and it'd be a great help. If you can't or don't want to, that's fine, I just thought it would turn out better if someone who knew more about the events wrote it.

Oh, and how's your Inq project going? I've got several GANs in the pipeline waiting for the ACs to get their acts together and approve my current ones :P How's Zash coming? Cade Calrayn 19:59, August 7, 2012 (UTC)

Zash's article

Hello Trayus, just to let you know, I've started working on Darth Nox's related missions and battles, so you may add them to Zash's article (the ones related to her that is). They're nothing that much formatted or sourced but it's just to leave the content worked on, in case anyone wants to take the status inicative. So yes, you may complete them if that is your choice. Here's my first one, Mission to Naga Sadow's tomb. Winterz (talk) 23:46, August 8, 2012 (UTC)

Double Stripe in TOR

I have noticed that the hairstyle Double stripe appears on many characters in TOR. Although it is never refered to by name, it appears on quite a few characters. I'm not sure of which ones right off hand, but I'm sure there are a fair amount. Just wanted to let you now, since I put the update tag on your CA. Thank you for your time.--Exiled Jedi (Greetings) 14:00, August 22, 2012 (UTC)

Dude, Darth Nox is a title the class earns in end game should one choose the Dark Side. That isn't the official NAME of the character. He/she can also be Darth Occulus or Darth Imperius depending on choice, also you can choose to not be a sadist. So you're un-editing actual edits is silly and redundant.

Sacking of Coruscant

When you get a chance, the Sacking needs to be updated with those three missions/info sections I gave you. I also posted them on the Sacking's talk page as well. Cade Calrayn 19:47, September 3, 2012 (UTC)

 • No problem. Actually, those ones I just posted were the older ones, I just wanted to make sure they didn't get missed because I posted them in the middle of your talk page. I also kind of wreaked havoc with the Great Galactic War template... I've been going through the conversation files, and found plenty of battles and stuff from the Great War. CadeCalrayn 20:07, September 3, 2012 (UTC)

Rhen Var

Hey, Trayus, great work with the Battle of Rhen Var. Just two things: first, The Old Republic stylizes all of the Republic Military units as using numbers instead of words - i.e. the Forty-fifth Battalion should actually be the 45th Battalion, I believe. Second, you say that there were only four Jedi at Rhen Var (Kiwiiks, Bakarn, Shan, and Kaedan) but if you look in the left corner of this image you just uploaded, it appears that there are four human Jedi there. The red-armored one is Bakarn, Shan is Shan, and I'm fairly certain the blond guy with the green saber charging Mekhis is Kaedan, but then who's the blond guy just under the caption who seems to be carrying a green lightsaber blade like a blaster? Is it just a drawing error, or is he meant to be a Jedi? Cade Calrayn 19:56, September 20, 2012 (UTC)

 • Yeah, I was wary of actually calling him a Jedi, as it almost looks like he's holding the green thing like a blaster rifle. I'm also curious who the non-trooper people are... eh. I just wish we could have dates for some of the GGW battles. CadeCalrayn 21:02, September 20, 2012 (UTC)
 • Quick question about the comic - does it show Bela Kiwiiks in person? And how are you getting the images from it? CadeCalrayn 21:27, September 20, 2012 (UTC)
 • I've started reading the Lost Suns, and I've found something interesting. Ngani Zho and the SIS Director both seem to be saying that he trained Bakarn, Kiwiiks, Kaedan, and Shan—the Director says that he trained half of the Council (which is exactly what those four are), and Zho himself says "Of them all, it was Satele who made me most proud." To me, that's him saying out of all my students. CadeCalrayn 22:56, September 20, 2012 (UTC)

EV-A4-D

Just wanted to give you a head's up about a small image change I made to EV-A4-D's article while I was replacing images with BluRay captures. In the Characteristics section, I replaced :File:A-4D.jpg with this image which displays his vast array of tools and attachments. Take a look, and if you don't like the change, just revert that one image. If you revert the entire edit, it'll take all the images back to ones that are marked for deletion, if not already deleted. - JMAS 02:03, September 24, 2012 (UTC)

Peppi Bow

I wanted to offer an alternate suggestion for Peppi Bow's infobox image. There are two other images in the article that show her with the hat on, and the image with the had somewhat shades her eyes. I have this other screenshot, that's a little closer in headshot, and without the hat, showing her full head without shading her eyes. If ya like it, I'll leave it to you to put in her article. If not, just mark the second one for deletion. - JMAS 03:09, October 2, 2012 (UTC)

 • Made the change; good call. Darth Trayus 03:12, October 2, 2012 (UTC)

Separatist Parliament

Hey Trayus, hope all's well. The Separatist Parliament is up on the FAN, so when you get the chance, I would really appreciate a review since it's definitely your area of expertise. That is, if you can pull yourself away from TOR long enough. :P Thanks. (Hurray for politics!) CC7567 21:27, October 6, 2012 (UTC)

Encyclopedia

Pages from the Encyclopedia! I'm picking mine up from my house tomorrow, but these two pages already gave me two new battles for the GGW: Bomodon and Karideph. Just a heads up so you know what those redlinks are. Cade Calrayn 03:50, October 11, 2012 (UTC)

 • Three things, but you'd probably get to them eventually: Nico Okarr's ship has been identified as the Redshifter, so you can update the Battle of Korriban accordingly. Also, Malavai Quinn's father ColonelRymar Quinn died in the Battle of Rhen Var, and Jace Malcom's from Barcaria. CadeCalrayn 17:41, October 12, 2012 (UTC)
 • Just a heads up, you can remove the Battle of Ilum and the Eight-Hour Invasion from your list of battles. They're both actually during the Cold War, according to the Codex and Encyclopedia. CadeCalrayn 19:02, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

Ryloth, again

Hey Trayus. I'm not sure if you've been watching our Battle of Ryloth recently, but the list of concurrent battles has been steadily growing because of the separation between "Supply Lines" and "Storm Over Ryloth." Recently, I've been thinking about just splitting the "Supply Lines" portion into an entirely separate conflict given the apparent end of hostilities for that long period of time, but I'm not sure. What do you think? Would there be enough information to distinguish the two episodes' events as separate battles? It would definitely make things look a lot nicer, but I'm not sure how accurate it would be. CC7567 01:18, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

 • Yeah, I see your point. I would definitely be opposed to treating it as a campaign, so it looks like a single event is the best solution. (Meh.) On a better note, how've you been? CC7567 18:50, October 13, 2012 (UTC)

Ilum

So "Recently, however, the peace on Ilum was shattered" is referring to just the peace on the planet, and not the Treaty? That makes sense, I guess. I can't seem to get the videos on "The Setting" to work - are they more than just the three trailers? Cade Calrayn 18:02, October 17, 2012 (UTC)

 • Sorry, I was just responding when you left your message. Did I create the Liberation? Huh. No, yeah, it should definitely be added into the Occupation - I just recently realized that the necessity for the Occupation article. It's just like my Battle of Corellia and the originally separate Invasion of Corellia - they're the same battle, it's just over the course of several weeks. Personally, I'd consider the Occupation of Balmorra (and the included Liberation) to be relatively separate from the GGW Battle, as the Republic withdraws and the Empire claims a victory that is contested by the resistance. What do you think? CadeCalrayn 18:07, October 17, 2012 (UTC)
 • I've gone through over half the sources for the GGW, and only Timeline 1 calls it the Great Galactic War. Warfare, the Encyclopedia, the game itself, Fatal Alliance, Gnost-Dural's journal, the official site, and everything else I can find call it the Great War. So, I'm going to go ahead and move it to the Great War, if you're fine with that - I can handle the moving and redirects of all the other stuff with a good couple of hours. CadeCalrayn 21:39, October 17, 2012 (UTC)
 • Reading through the Codex, Trayus, I've got to bring the Ilum thing up again. While we can't discount what the TOR website said, I think it's actually two separate battles on the planet. Here's the Codex:

Re: One more thing

Yeah, thanks, I saw that and added it as BTS material. Cade Calrayn 03:05, October 19, 2012 (UTC)

Lenico

Trayus, about your Massacre on Lenico IV article—the Prelude should probably mention the fact that the Children of the Emperor and the Emperor's Voice were created because Revan's attack scared the Emperor. It's from the Encyclopedia. Good work! Cade Calrayn 21:08, October 23, 2012 (UTC)

WP:TOR cleanup

Hey, I've noticed that our project page may need some updating and cleanup. I have some suggestions I want to run by you that I'd like to implement. 1) the "In the News" section needs an overhaul. We still have stuff posted from 6 plus months ago. I would suggest we only keep updates posted no more than the current month and the previous two months. 2) Reorganize the "In the News" section: "Project updates" for all articles promoted to FA, GA, CA(maybe?) and guild accomplishments and "SWTOR updates" for all information regarding newly published books, sources, game updates, etc. Same concept as above, we only keep things up to certain amount of time. 3) A minor copy-edit. I've noticed that there are a couple areas where the wording talks about things that are going to happen, but they have already happen so this will mostly be checking to see that everything is updated. 4) I believe there may be a couple of forum topics we can archive that haven't been touched in while and/or are obsolete. Thoughts? Coruscantfan 16:02, November 1, 2012 (UTC)

I have removed the "Lyrics" section from the guide and added a bit into the "Conception and development" section stating that the writing of the lyrics is to be included here. Mak Plain's homeworld

Hello Trayus, I remember during the time you were nominating Mak Plain, I asked this question, but now I have to just ask again: do we know for sure Coruscant was the character's homeworld? The fact that he lived there during the Clone Wars doesn't necessarily make it his homeworld. An example that comes to mind is Lando Calrissian was born on Socorro, not on Bespin. New info for Skytop

Hey Trayus, Happy New Year! There's some new info on Skytop Station from Star Wars: The Clone Wars: What Is a Sith Warrior?. I'll give you the info so that you can update it when you get the chance.

HOW IS DOOKU'S SPY BASE DESTROYED?

 • A vast listening post for spying on the Republic, Dooku's Skytop Station is an immense battlesphere, under the command of General Grievous. Its sensors can pick up messages from all over the galaxy, and, most dangerously of all, spy on the Jedi Holonet. The station is giving the Sith an advantage in the war—a situation the Jedi want terminated.
 • : Skytop is equipped with more than adequate defenses, but there is one factor for which Grievous hasn't prepared. Astromech droid R3-S6 was spying for the Sith, but when the Jedi discover the truth, R3's inside data helps them to bring down Dooku's spy base. (This seems to be an error—the picture referring to the text is of R3-S6 beaming a holograph of Skytop Station to Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex, and their squad, but it's from the computer terminal, so it looks like an error.)
 • : The spy base's massive sensor array is built to pick up long-range movements of enemy ships, but not individual intruders. By leaving their spacecraft behind and skydiving onto the station, the Jedi arrive undetected. Once aboard, the intruders place charges at key sites: the reactor and the engines.
 • : When the Jedi's charges ignite, the Skytop's source of power is destroyed, leaving the spy base helpless. Its repulsorlift engines are blown to bits, so it can no longer defy gravity and remain in its location. In a blaze of fire and falling debris, the great spy station plummets to its destruction.
 • : Skytop Station's air defenses ordinarily consist of vulture droids and Rogue-class starfighters. General Grievous has bolstered its defenses with B2 battle droids and MagnaGuards.

Let me know if you have any questions. If you're pressed on time, I can see what I can do about updating the article myself; just let me know. Hope that helps. CC7567 01:40, January 8, 2013 (UTC)

Rhen Var

Hey, Trayus, I hate to do this to your FAN, but I asked Alexander Freed about the placement of the Battle of Rhen Var. He basically confirmed that it actually happens at the end of the war, not after Alderaan. It's up to you on how you want to rework the article, but I guess Zho just mentioned the Battles of Alderaan and Rhen Var together because they were both victories. Cade Calrayn 03:22, January 14, 2013 (UTC)

 • To go along with that --- there are currently objections to both the Begeren and Tingel Arm FANs that over three weeks old. I don't want to sound like a dick, but this is the third time you've been reminded about three-week old objections within the last few months. Try to pay closer attention to your noms; both are one vote away from passing. Menkooroo (talk) 00:17, February 6, 2013 (UTC)

FAN page reviewing

Hey, Trayus,

I'm writing this to you on behalf of the entire Inquisitorius. At our recent meeting, we discussed the current lack of non-INQs who are actively involved in reviewing on the FAN page, and we decided that the best solution was to simply appeal to people to review more. This first paragraph is being sent verbatim to a whole bunch of people, but the following one is being written specifically for you.

You're one of the site's best writers, but I've always wanted to see you review more. I've seen you review in the past, but these days I'm always a little bummed when you nom FAs but never review others' work. You're a great reviewer, and if it were something of which you made a habit, I don't doubt that you'd be an INQ. We're trying to breathe some life into the FAN page with a reviewing revolution of sorts, and we'd love to have you on board --- given that you do nom FAs fairly often, reciprocating the reviewing love wouldn't be amiss. Cheers, and have a great day! Menkooroo (talk) 07:43, February 11, 2013 (UTC)

Question

Hello Dark Lord Trayus. I have this question about two senators: Bail Prestor Organa and Mon Mothma. Since you were the one who wrote the Republic financial reform bill article, I was wondering if they were really sectorial senators. Organa is sourced in that article to his Databank entry, but the link is broken so I couldn't check. And Mothma is sourced to The Force Unleashed novel, which I don't have, and so does it say in that novel that she represents the Bormea sector? As for Organa, are you sure that it says in the Databank entry that he represents the Alderaan sector, because The Essential Atlas Online Compainon says that Alderaan doesn't have a sector. The Old Republic

Hi Trayus. Wondering if you can help me out a bit. Some of the happenings in the Great Galactic War/Second Galactic War are relevant to the Atrivis sector. For instances, there is a little side mission to Nam'ta that a Republic player can send one of their companions off to. To mention this, of course, requires some context, which I am not very familiar with. Would you mind having a look at the last paragraph of "Early exploration", and letting me know if I have got it right. I am also not certain of the sourcing. Grateful for any comments or corrections. --Eyrezer (talk) 03:53, July 6, 2013 (UTC)

Holonet

Hey, Trayus, not sure if you saw, but I did some tinkering with Holonet. When the site was overhauled, the Holonet was moved from swtor.com/info/holonet to just swtor.com/holonet, which was the reason that web.archive.org couldn't find any results for the urls that our Holonet template was producing, since the template excluded the /info. Basically, if the Holonet page no longer exists, then add |old=true into the template, and it'll produce an Archive.org backup link; if the page still exists and also existed before the overhaul, |both=true will provide a backup link to the original as well. Cheers. Cade Calrayn 15:18, October 2, 2013 (UTC)

EduCorps things

Hello, EduCorps member. This is a general message to you, as an EC member, regarding EC membership responsibilities. In accordance with recent site mandate, it is now the responsibility of all EC-exclusive members (EC members who are not otherwise also members of the Inq or AC) to maintain the Comprehensive article system by reviewing CANs and attending EC meetings. Since the beginning of this initiative, several members of the EduCorps have made no effort to meet their new responsibilities, so the EC came to a formal agreement to send out general notices to all EC members reminding them of their expected responsibilities. For those EC members who do not meet their responsibilities, an effort will be made to remove their membership. The next EC meeting has been scheduled for next weekend, on Saturday, October 12, at 7 PM ET. Hope to see everyone there. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 19:55, October 4, 2013 (UTC)

So did they give Fives another number or am I reading something wrong? TCW, please make up your mind. JangFett 16:32, March 6, 2014 (UTC)

 • Looks like it's either a whole new number or an abbreviation of CT-27-5555. I like the quote, but ugh ugh ugh. At least tomorrow is the last new TCW anyone has to worry about. Darth Trayus 16:35, March 6, 2014 (UTC)

Ventress Canon article

I uploaded a blu ray screencap of Narec reassuring Asajj, but since I see you working on the article today, I didn't want to replace it myself. I typically only do so if I see the article hasn't been touched for at least a day. - JMAS 20:02, August 8, 2015 (UTC)

 • Thanks, I'll throw it in there. I'll probably be hitting you up for a few more blu ray screencaps in the near future, if you don't mind. Darth Trayus 20:06, August 8, 2015 (UTC)

Ventress

Hey Trayus, hope you're doing well. I noticed that you've been rewriting a lot of Asajj Ventress over the last few days. Since Brandon previously expressed his intent to write the article on the WP:TCW project page, I'd advise you to check with him about whether he still intends to take it on as a project, just to make sure that nothing comes up down the line. Thanks. CC7567 23:35, August 9, 2015 (UTC)

Pirate uprising

Since you're currently working on Asajj Ventress, I thought you'd like to know that according to the Nightsistersencyclopedia entry Hal'Sted was killed during a pirate uprising. - AV-6R7 07:47, December 14, 2015 (UTC)

 • Thanks for the heads-up; I probably wouldn't have noticed that. Best, Darth Trayus 15:23, December 14, 2015 (UTC)

Enhanced Security and Enforcement Act

Hello Trayus, I saw you were the user who made Enhanced Security and Enforcement Act an FA on this site. I can tell you, from the fact that its approval was galvanized by Valorum's death in 21 BBY, it needs to be edited to reflect the continuity screwup that is TCW's "The Lost One" showing Valorum alive in 20 BBY, months after the events in those Republic comics. The Star of Iskin article addresses that issue in the BtS, if that helps. Thanks. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 02:30, December 23, 2015 (UTC)

Why are you correcting the truth... Snoke is Sim Aloon... I didn't add a reference since The Force Awakens was already listed...

Here ya go: Ventress gallery

Also, based on this email and other oddities in the game, I'm inclined to say her appearance on Felucia is not canon. Cwedin 23:19, March 4, 2016 (UTC)
