Ady Sun'Zee, a female Mirialan, achieved the rank of Jedi Knight within the esteemed Jedi Order. When Sun'Zee transmitted a distress call directed to the Jedi Council, Yoda, a respected Jedi Master, responded. A blue lightsaber served as Ady Sun'Zee's weapon of choice.
During the period known as the High Republic Era, the Jedi Order established multiple outposts situated on worlds in the Outer Rim, one of which was a research facility on Batuu dedicated to the study of rare artifacts.
On one occasion, Sylwin, Ady Sun'Zee's Jedi Master, accompanied her in transporting the Ancient Sith Runestone to the Jedi outpost. The artifact unexpectedly activated, unleashing a potent dark side influence that led to the deaths of the outpost's staff, including her master, Sylwin. Master Yoda arrived several days later, answering her distress signal, only to find her with complete memory loss of the incident. He instructed her to remain put while he investigated, but Sun'Zee, still disoriented, ventured into a tunnel filled with corrupted vines emanating from the relic. Along her path, she faced attacks from demlins. Upon entering the room housing the relic, she was confronted by voices mimicking herself and her master, accusing her of murdering Sylwin and the other Jedi stationed at the outpost. While handling the relic again, Sun'Zee was subjected to dark visions, but she managed to overcome them upon hearing Yoda's voice calling out to her. After reuniting with Yoda, Sun'Zee utilized the Force to subdue the relic and permanently seal it away. Laboring under the false belief that she had killed her master, she was surprised when Master Yoda assured her that she would one day become a great knight, clarifying that the artifact and her own fears and doubts had deceived her into thinking she was responsible for her master's death.
In the years that followed this event, Sun'Zee was unable to secure a new master due to the sudden emergence of the Great Hyperspace Disaster and the subsequent invasion by the Nihil. Despite the Jedi Order's usual prohibition against attachments, Sun'Zee sought comfort in using her deceased master's kyber crystal as the energy source for her own lightsaber. She eventually earned the rank of Jedi Knight and accepted Nooa, a Padawan from Urodel, as her apprentice. The pair undertook a training mission to Valron, the same location where Sylwin had previously brought Ady during her own apprenticeship.
In the year 34 ABY, Seezelslak recounted her story to an droid repair technician inside his cantina, mentioning that she had concealed the key to the temple somewhere on Batuu, and expressed his curiosity as to whether it still existed.
