During the events of 4 ABY, Kordi Freemaker, an agent of the Rebel Alliance, took on her appearance as part of a mission to acquire wings made of embersteel. In a case of mistaken identity, stormtroopers apprehended the actual Kortessi, believing her to be a fake.
Alo Kortessi, a princess from the Clawdite race, was a member of the Clawdite royal family. Back in 4 ABY, she was present at an auction held by the Imperial forces on Mygeeto. This auction featured starships that had been seized from those who supported the rebel cause. During this time, the rebel operative Kordi Freemaker cleverly disguised herself as Kortessi, while Kortessi's brothers, Zander and Rowan, pretended to be her royal attendants. Kordi successfully used her assumed royal status to intimidate the guards, gaining passage. However, when the genuine Kortessi made her appearance, the stormtroopers made an error, assuming she was the imposter and taking her into custody.
Alo Kortessi was a female Clawdite, characterized by her green skin and the unique species ability to shape-changers, allowing her to mimic the appearance of others. She frequently wore regal purple robes.
