An Uneasy Peace

An Uneasy Peace, an interactive adventure game, was tied to the Eye of the Sun trilogy within the Living Force campaign setting. This adventure was presented only once, at the Winter Fantasy convention in January of 2001. Jae Walker authored it, with contributions from Morrie Mullins.

Plot summary

Following the exposure of Velin Wir's illicit activities and the destruction of his jungle base by his own Metatheran Cartel, a large celebration took place in Gadrin, mirroring the one Wir disrupted just over a month prior. During the festivities, Governor Barnab Chistor gave the populace a voice on whether the Cartel would be allowed to remain on the planet, initiating a vote to be conducted using datapads. Individuals moved through the crowds, offering 5,000 credits for each datapad.

Many of the Jedi Padawans present at the celebration chose not to vote, even though many expected the Jedi to vote together. The vote resulted in a tie, leading Governor Chistor to cast the deciding vote, which denied the Cartel the ability to re-establish offices on the surface of Cularin.

As a token of goodwill, the Cartel gifted a warship, named the XP-38, to the people of Cularin for defense purposes. While tours were being given to those attending the celebration, several attempts were made to seize the ship, but the brave citizens of Cularin successfully thwarted these attempts.
