During the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire maintained a shipyard on Anadeen. The New Republic engaged in conflict to seize this shipyard in 5 ABY. That year, Fleet Admiral Gallius Rax referenced Anadeen, among other Imperial sites under contention, in a discussion with the newly formed Imperial Shadow Council.
The novel Aftermath: Life Debt, published in 2016, included a reference to Anadeen. This novel is the second book in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy by Chuck Wendig.
