Official description

Sabine and Tristan embark on a clandestine operation aimed at liberating Mandalore, but they put everything at risk to obliterate an Imperial base that has desecrated a statue representing Tarre Vizsla.

Plot summary

Sabine Wren, accompanied by her younger sibling Tristan Wren, ascends a rugged hill to reach an age-old monument honoring their forefather, Tarre Vizsla. Sabine had previously visited this location during her childhood, when Tristan was still an infant. Sabine deeply values the statue due to its historical and artistic merit. However, Tristan draws attention to the fact that stormtroopers have established a military installation surrounding the statue. Sabine pledges to dismantle the outpost. Tristan expresses reluctance to endanger their primary objective for the sake of a historical monument, but Sabine reminds him of the statue's significance to Mandalore. Tristan sighs, commenting that he preferred her when she was exploring the vastness of space.

Sabine and Tristan ascend the statue itself. Tristan strategically places the detonators, while Sabine wields the Darksaber to sever the metal supports of the Imperial outpost. Sabine offers an apology to the statue, which amuses Tristan. Subsequently, the pair retreat from the statue to a safe distance, where Tristan activates the detonators, resulting in the outpost's destruction. The siblings then ascend to the summit of the statue, gazing upon the visage of Tarre Vizsla. Tristan acknowledges that their actions were justified, and Sabine adds that it was for Mandalore.
