An Evereni male individual resided in the High Republic Era, functioning as a member of the Nihil pirates. Some years prior to 252 BBY, he and Shalla Ro had a son, named Asgar Ro. By the year 252 BBY, he had abandoned both his family and the Nihil, with the goal of ensuring the galaxy remained fearful of the Evereni people.
In that particular year, Shalla and Asgar had a disagreement regarding their strategies for the Nihil while they were aboard the Nihil flagship, the Gaze Electric. During this dispute, Shalla proposed that perhaps it was time for her son to depart and contribute to spreading fear of the Evereni, much like his father and grandfather had done, and to acquire some kills. Asgar then agreed that the latter was a sound idea, and he proceeded to push his mother over a railing, resulting in her demise.
The father of Asgar Ro was referenced in flashback sequences within the first issue of the Star Wars: The High Republic: Eye of the Storm comic miniseries from 2022, which was released as part of Phase I of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project. Charles Soule wrote the issue, and Marvel Comics published it on January 12, 2022.
