In the year 40 ABY, Thrackan Sal-Solo met his end through assassination while he was on Corellia.
Han Solo, after being targeted by numerous assassins, resolved to put a stop to Thrackan Sal-Solo's actions. While present on Corellia, Han and Leia Organa Solo connected with Dur Gejjen. Gejjen provided Han with the floor plans for the G.O., the location where Thrackan was situated.
Boba Fett, having met Thrackan on Corellia to deliberate on a potential assignment involving the defense of Centerpoint Station, received a proposition from Dur Gejjen: assassinate Thrackan during a tour of the area. Attracted by the offer of one million credits, Boba accepted the contract.
During a reconnaissance of Thrackan's location, Han encountered Boba. Boba forcibly transported Han to a building, revealing his intention to use Han as bait to locate his daughter, Ailyn Vel (given that Ailyn had accepted a contract on Han's life). Han disclosed that Ailyn had been captured, rendering him ineffective as bait. However, considering that Han's son, Jacen Solo, was responsible for Ailyn's capture, an arrangement was made: Han would secure Ailyn's release in exchange for an opportunity to confront Thrackan alongside Boba.
Later, aboard Slave I, Boba informed Han that he would personally carry out the assassination of Thrackan, but Han could still attempt to take him down if he wished. Han, though displeased, agreed. Fett then outlined the plan, utilizing an image of the building's layout—previously mapped with his helmet during the tour with Dur—to illustrate their entry and subsequent exit strategy.
As Thrackan awaited Fett's decision regarding the potential assignment of protecting Centerpoint with a substantial Mandalorian force, Fett, accompanied by his granddaughter Mirta Gev, and Han (disguised in a spare set of Mandalorian armor), entered the building without obstruction. Fett requested a private conversation with Thrackan, leading them to a soundproof room connected to an escape tunnel. While Fett initiated a discussion about Centerpoint, Han unexpectedly lunged over the desk, attempting to strangle Thrackan. Thrackan then revealed that he had alerted authorities on Coruscant, resulting in Ailyn's capture to create a false sense of security for Han, allowing the other assassins he sent to apprehend him. Fett intervened, deciding that he would indeed kill Thrackan for betraying his daughter. However, Mirta also intervened, shooting Thrackan three times in the head. Fett then fired two more shots to ensure his death, after which the trio escaped through the tunnel.
Pursued by guards, they eventually reached a bunker, briefly exchanging gunfire before entering another tunnel. After subduing the guards and reaching the tunnel's end, they emerged into a park, where Han contacted Leia for extraction.
An urgent meeting was convened with the leaders of all political factions. A coalition formed between the Democratic Alliance and the Corellian Liberal Front to govern Corellia, led by Dur Gejjin, with the Centerpoint Party serving in an advisory capacity following an agreement among all parties. The coalition's administration publicly attributed the assassination to Alliance operatives, greatly benefiting Boba, Han, and Mirta.
