Attack on Point Modie

The Assault on Point Modie was a trial orchestrated by Lieutenant Bella to determine how effective Hex weaponry would be against the Mere inhabitants of Point Modie.

Initial Events

As a means to prepare for the impending galactic conflict, Count Dooku sought out allies to join the Confederacy of Independent Systems. He discovered a kindred spirit in the pirate Cavik Toth, a notorious figure in the Outer Rim. In exchange for providing the pirate with resources, Toth would develop innovative armaments. Toth immediately requested the creation of hazardous and prohibited Trihexalon weapons. Since the Revenants were engaged in an active war against the Trade Federation occupation, the planet Mere was selected as the location to test the Hex weapons.

The Conflict

Under the command of Captain Cavik Toth, Lieutenant Bella deployed five Hex Deployers and initiated an orbital bombardment of Point Modie. Having recently destroyed a Trade Federation Sensor Station, Jedi Master Adi Gallia detected a disturbance in The Force and convinced Nym to investigate alongside Reti. Upon arriving, they discovered Point Modie in a state of crisis: the city was under attack from Hex missiles launched from orbit, and the population was desperately trying to evacuate. Master Gallia and Reti immediately engaged the missiles, successfully neutralizing a significant number, especially after Sol Sixxa joined the fray.

Following their initial setback, the Hex Bombers descended and resumed their attacks, now supported by Sabaoth Squadron. Once again, Gallia, Reti, and Sol Sixxa managed to defend the spaceport. When Reti intercepted the enemy's comm channel, the trio identified Bella. After the last of the Hex bombers was destroyed, Gallia contacted Mace Windu to inform him and the Council that Captain Cavik Toth was the person behind the Hex Weapons.

Consequences

After learning that Cavik Toth was responsible for the attack, the Mere Resistance pledged to end his reign of terror. They proceeded to attack the Hex production facilities and ultimately confronted Toth himself in a final showdown.
