The B-14 airspeeder represents an airspeeder model that existed up to the point when the planet Alderaan faced destruction. Before its demise, the next door neighbor of Anandra Milon, an Alderaanian immigrant, received a B-14 as a gift from her father, who lived on Coruscant. This airspeeder was discovered abandoned by her father after the Mon Calamari species were displaced following the riots that occurred in the Old Market Sector.
These vehicles were manufactured on the planet Troithe. However, during the [Imperial Era](/article/imperial_era], the governor let the manufacturing facilities deteriorate and become inactive.
Originally, the B-14 airspeeder was conceived for Jedi Quest: The False Peace, a Star Wars Legends book for younger readers authored by Jude Watson and released in 2004. The airspeeder design was later incorporated into canon through "One Thousand Levels Down," a brief narrative penned by Alexander Freed and featured in Star Wars Insider 151 in 2014.
