Bask Sunn, functioning as a lieutenant and recruitment officer among the Dar'manda, was once a Mandalorian. Representing the Dar'manda within Heta Kol's organization, the Hidden Chain, Sunn participated in the third Galactic War circa 3626 BBY. This conflict involved the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Moreover, Sunn held the title of Mandalorian Combat Master.
Around 3626 BBY, under Heta Kol's orders, Bask Sunn spearheaded a Dar'manda assault on the Spirit of Vengeance II, collaborating with Clan Varad and the Ash'ad. During this operation, the Alliance Commander and Rass Ordo confronted him, ultimately defeating him. To save himself, Sunn provided the Commander and Rass with codes and a personal transport to aid in destroying the tethers attached to the Spirit of Vengeance II, leading to Rass sparing his life. Following the retreat from the ship, Sunn reported to [Heta Kol](/article/heta_kol], receiving new directives. Subsequently, he requested the return of his transport from the Commander, noting it was part of a set.

Later, Bask was present at a Hidden Chain gathering when Ri'kan Kateen rejoined the group, bringing his sister, the rogue Jedi Padawan Sa'har Kateen, to meet Heta Kol.
Bask Sunn's life came to an end during the Showdown on Ruhnuk.
During the confrontation between Heta Kol and Shae Vizla, the player observes Bask Sunn secretly using a weapon to disadvantage Shae Vizla, aiming to profit from her defeat. The player is presented with three choices regarding the duel:
- Disable the weapon for light side points - Shae Vizla triumphs over Heta Kol before the Hidden Chain. Bask then attempts to attack the player, who can either incapacitate or eliminate him. [7]
- Turn the weapon on Heta Kol for dark side points - The Commander subdues Bask Sunn and directs the sonic disruptor at Heta, immobilizing her, allowing Shae to defeat her. However, neither the Hidden Chain nor Shae acknowledge the victory. Bask will then attempt to hurt the player to which the player can either knock him out or kill him. [7]
- Leave the weapon as it is for dark side points - Shae is defeated, and Bask Sunn pledges to withdraw the Dar'manda from the Hidden Chain and support the player's faction in the war. Saboteurs have a modified option where they leave the machine but tell Bask Sunn to support the opposing faction (Republic for Imperial saboteurs and Empire for Republic saboteurs) instead to his confusion to which he agrees to regardless. [7]
In the subsequent Update 7.3: Old Wounds, Heta discovers Sunn's interference in her duel with Shae if the player destroyed Sunn's weapon or turned it against her. If the player spared Sunn, Heta has him ejected from an airlock. Should the player have accepted Sunn's deal, Heta remains unaware of his betrayal, believing he removed the Dar'manda from the Hidden Chain after receiving payment.
