Batuv, a world situated within the Expansion Region, was a planet under the control of, and subject to a blockade enforced by, the forces of the Galactic Empire. Before Captain Lando Calrissian encountered Tobias Beckett, Calrissian, accompanied by his co-pilot L3-37, journeyed to Batuv aboard the Millennium Falcon to acquire a cape from a Trandoshan named Borkus.
