Bessiker was a male Human who held the rank of major within the Imperial Military of the reconstituted Sith Empire. He was stationed on the planet of Balmorra.
Bessiker, known for his pride, demonstrated exceptional combat skills in battles such as those on Coruscant and Begeren. Hailing from a respected Imperial family, and despite his connections with the Sith – both his brother and his son, Hiran, underwent training on Korriban – Bessiker never voiced any complaints regarding his assignment on Balmorra or the challenges it presented. Upon discovering Hiran's force-sensitive abilities, Bessiker made significant sacrifices to ensure his son received Sith training on Korriban. Unbeknownst to Bessiker, Hiran, influenced by his Sith training, developed a deep disdain for his father and non-Force-sensitive Imperials.
By the year 3643 BBY, he was serving as the chief supply officer on the planet during the period known as the Cold War. As the Empire progressively reduced the resources allocated to support the ongoing pacification efforts on Balmorra, Bessiker played a crucial role in sustaining the Imperial war effort. He achieved this by scavenging and repurposing outdated equipment, as well as improvising armor and weaponry when necessary. He eventually crossed paths with an apprentice of Darth Zash (who would later be known as Kallig), who was searching for an artifact of Tulak Hord on Balmorra. Upon learning of Iannos Tyrek's defection to the Galactic Republic and the imprisonment of his son, Bessiker refused to create the mutagen that Kallig needed and instead tasked the Sith Inquisitor with rescuing Hiran.
While Kallig embarked on the rescue mission, Bessiker devised a strategy to enter the vault filled with toxic waste where the artifact was hidden. However, he discovered that Balmorran scientists had genetically modified an insectoid species called Colicoids to enhance their resistance to the toxic waste and even allow them to consume it. He suggested that Kallig should search the nearby records vault for more information on the artifact. When his agent reported that Kallig had killed Hiran in a duel for insulting him, he harshly criticized the inquisitor and demanded to know why he had killed him. Overcome with rage, Bessiker attempted to kill Kallig and Khem Val. Bessiker was defeated, and Ilun replaced him as Major.
