Bestine junkyard

The Bestine junkyard, situated within the city of Bestine on the Outer Rim desert planet, was a scrap repository. Otip Ashtep, a scavenger, ran his operations from this junkyard during the year 3 ABY.

Kay Vess, a scoundrel, made at least two trips to the junkyard in 3 ABY. On one occasion, she was in search of an individual capable of fitting a laser turret onto her EML-850 light freighter, called the Trailblazer. Vess was pointed towards Entip, a Jawa located in the South Jundland Wastes, by a mechanic at the junkyard. On a subsequent visit, Vess engaged in conversation with a Weequay engineer concerning the surveying records of their grandfather related to the Mos Algo mine.

Behind the scenes

The Bestine junkyard made its initial canon appearance in Star Wars Outlaws, a video game from 2024 developed by Massive Entertainment and released by Ubisoft. Its location was revealed during the quests titled "The Hotfixer" and "Repulsor Train".
