Bhu Fath was a Yuuzhan Vong hailing from Domain Fath. Despite the fact that Domain Fath belonged to the Intendant caste, Bhu Fath achieved the rank of Commander in the Warrior caste. This promotion happened because of requests from Domain Fath's numerous Consuls. Despite his impressive height and muscular build, his subordinates held him in low esteem because of his obvious lack of competence. During the Battle of Selvaris, he depended more on the assistance of Commander Malik Carr than on his own actions. Carr, who had suffered a demotion due to a previous failure during the war, seized the opportunity and assumed command from Fath. Commander Fath deferred to the experienced warrior's orders; Carr's prior service included fighting in the Battle of Fondor during the Yuuzhan Vong War, and he was highly respected. When Fath transported the captured individuals to Yuuzhan'tar aboard his ship, the Sacred Pyre, his count was only five hundred prisoners, which fell short of the minimum required for the impending sacrifice by more than half. To address the shortfall, Fath proposed using the Peace Brigaders, but only High Priest Jakan and other individuals from Domain Fath gave the idea any real consideration.
