Between the years 3 ABY and 4 ABY, Omel Sampak, a gangster affiliated with the Pyke Syndicate criminal group, orchestrated a bombing targeting a fight school situated on the Outer Rim world of Nar Kanji. This school, utilized by Kanjiklub, a rival assassins group to the Pykes, suffered extensive damage from the bombing, leading to the deaths of numerous students while they were slept.
Sampak, in celebration of his success, rented out the Accretion Disco space station. Anticipating retaliation from Kanjiklub for the attack, the Pyke contracted T'onga's crew, led by the bounty hunter T'onga, to protect him and his associates. The assassins later attempted to assassinate the gangster on the station, but T'onga and her crew successfully intervened. After learning the truth about the bombing from one of the assassins, Tasu Leech, a member of T'onga's team and a native of Nar Kanji, personally killed Sampak.
The comic series Star Wars: Bounty Hunters made reference to the Nar Kanji fight school bombing in its twenty-seventh issue of the 2020 run. Ethan Sacks wrote the issue, and Marvel Comics published it on September 14, 2021. Before the issue's official release, a preview featured on StarWars.com on September 7 of the same year mentioned the bombing.
