T'onga, a human female bounty hunter, was the twin sister of T'ongor, who was also a hunter. She eventually abandoned her life as a bounty hunting and became a farmer alongside Losha Tarkon on the Moon of Logal Ri. The death of T'ongor profoundly impacted T'onga, and she held Nakano Lash, her brother's former ally, responsible. When Lash reemerged with a price on T'onga's head, she vowed revenge and left the moon, leaving Losha behind. With the assistance of Beilert Valance, she located Lash, but Boba Fett subdued her.
After a close call with death, T'onga received medical attention on Ruusan, where Tarkon reunited with her. Together, they formed a crew with the intention of finding Cadeliah, the future leader of the Mourner's Wail and Unbroken Clan crime organizations.
Born as the twin of T'ongor, T'onga and her brother operated as bounty hunters throughout the galaxy. The siblings were associates with the Nautolan hunter Nakano Lash, and at one point after 10 BBY, they accompanied her to discuss business with Jhorstek, an Abednedo technician. As they conversed in Phelar Port on the planet Eriadu, they witnessed a young thief pleading for assistance while being apprehended by stormtroopers. Despite Lash's inclination to help, Jhorstek advised against it, fearing arrest. When T'onga inquired with her brother about intervening, he sided with the Abednedo. They observed as Beilert Valance, a former Imperial soldier, confronted the troopers. Subsequently, Lash aided Valance, assisting the cyborg after he was shot down.
After a few months of working together, T'onga, along with T'ongor, Lash, Bossk, and Valance, paid a visit to a cantina located on Varkana.
At a later time, T'ongor met his end following a botched mission on Corellia. Although T'onga wasn't involved in the mission, she sensed her brother's passing and blamed Lash, who bore responsibility for the mission's failure. T'onga subsequently retired from bounty hunting, embraced the life of a farmer, and established a homestead on the Moon of Logal Ri with her lover Losha Tarkon, vowing to never return to her previous life. In 3 ABY, Lash reappeared after a period of hiding, now with a significant bounty on her head, drawing the attention of numerous bounty hunters.

Upon discovering the Nautolan's resurgence, T'onga made an attempt to leave the moon to pursue Lash, but Losha intervened, expressing her desire for T'onga to remain and live out her days as a farmer. After touching foreheads with Losha, T'onga described the unique connection she shared with her brother, stating that she felt his death and sought to restore her family's honor by avenging him on Lash. Despite Losha reminding T'onga of her promise to retire from bounty hunting, T'onga reassured her not to worry, stating that there would not be anything left to bury if she were to fail, before departing on her starship.
T'onga journeyed to Dotharian, the location of the headquarters for the Mourner's Wail Syndicate, seeking information about Lash's return. After infiltrating the fortress and eliminating several guards, she was captured by Lord Khamdek, the leader of the Syndicate. Khamdek, assuming she intended to assassinate him, was impressed by her skills and permitted her to speak before ordering her execution. T'onga kneeled before him and pledged to kill Lash for the Syndicate, as the Nautolan was also responsible for the death of Khamdek's son, Khamus. She requested all information the Mourner's Wail possessed regarding Lash, promising to avenge both Khamus and T'ongor. This led her to the Graveyard Planet of Galmerah, where she boarded Beilert Valance's ship, the Broken Wing, without permission.

Aboard the ship, T'onga held Valance at gunpoint, forcing him to wear a restraining bolt as they followed Lash's trail to Ruusan, where they discovered the corpse of Ooris Bynar, another hunter pursuing her. From there, they proceeded to a village seeking information, but were attacked by a Nexu belonging to an ally of Lash, who aimed to protect her. Following the skirmish, the man realized Valance was a friend and revealed Lash's location in the shipwrecks orbiting the world. In orbit, Valance and T'onga finally encountered Lash, who was protecting the child heir of both the Unbroken Clan and Mourner's Wail crime syndicates in an effort to end the conflict between them. Lash also disclosed her terminal illness and her plan to safeguard the girl until her death. Upon understanding the truth about Lash's motivations, T'onga became disillusioned with her mission. Just as she decided to return home to Losha, Boba Fett arrived and shot her through the abdomen, incapacitating her.

Losha Tarkon, following her wife's trail, arrived on Ruusan. There, she discovered T'onga in a hospital bed, receiving treatment for her injuries. Once T'onga had recovered further, they expressed their love for each other and resolved to track down and bring Nakano Lash's killers to justice. The man who healed T'onga then offered them his Nexu to assist them. Soon after, they learned that Jabba the Hutt had placed a bounty on Fett's head.
Returning to Dotharian, T'onga and Tarkon visited the Fortress of the Mourner's Wail, finding it devastated and covered in scorch marks. T'onga ventured inside, discovering Khamdek and several soldiers who warned her to leave immediately. However, it was too late, as Crimson Dawn was already inside the building. A battle erupted as the two syndicates clashed. During the conflict, T'onga, aiding the Mourner's Wail, was knocked down and pinned by a Crimson Dawn enforcer, but was rescued by the Nexu and Tarkon. Together, the team eliminated several more Crimson Dawn enforcers, and T'onga went to the side of an injured Khamdek. She informed him that he has a granddaughter, and he instantly felt remorse for the situation. He then hired the wives, enlisting them to assemble a crew and rescue Cadeliah.

T'onga and Tarkon recruited Tasu Leech from the Fighting pits of Nar Kanji, and Zuckuss from the Gand floating sanctuary. Aboard the Edgehawk, the crew arrived on the planet Jekara, where Crimson Dawn was conducting an auction for Han Solo, having located the site through the Gand's tracking abilities. The team discovered a bound Bossk, who deceived Zuckuss, stealing his knife and revealing that Valance was also present, shocking T'onga.
Utilizing Zuckuss's senses, T'onga determined that Valance was aboard the Executor, orbiting Jekara. Approaching in the Edgehawk, she used an old smuggler's frequency to contact Valance as he battled stormtroopers. Valance exited the Star Destroyer using a jetpack and attempted to board the Edgehawk, but Darth Vader pulled him back, forcing T'onga to leave him behind.
Believing Valance to be dead, T'onga's crew visited the Carbon Score Cantina on Burnin Konn. To unwind, they fought and killed a group of Kerrakk enforcers who arrived to rob the cantina. T'onga became upset when Tarkon enthusiastically took a life, telling Tarkon that this wasn't the life she wanted for her.
At a safe house in Ord Mantell City, T'onga discussed the search for Cadeliah with her crew. Zuckuss suggested locating his old partner, 4-LOM, in order to search for transmissions mentioning the girl. Zuckuss traced the droid's signal to the wreckage orbiting Lotho Minor. Boarding a wrecked Hutt freighter, the crew battled the reprogrammed 4-LOM, and Zuckuss removed the droid's head. Zuckuss restored 4-LOM's previous programming and had him search for transmissions mentioning Cadeliah. 4-LOM intercepted a message from Crimson Dawn indicating that they were moving to capture the syndicate heir.

T'onga was a human female characterized by black hair, brown eyes, and dark skin. As a retired bounty hunter turned farmer, T'onga held deep affection for her brother, maintaining a bond she considered "special" among her people's twins. Upon departing the Moon of Logal Ri, she conveyed to Losha that she sensed T'ongor's death and vowed to hunt down his killer to restore her family's honor, even breaking her initial promise to live as a farmer.
T'onga worked with Valance to track down his suspected killer. This eventually led to her being supposedly killed by Boba Fett. She demonstrated her survivalist tendencies by somehow surviving the interaction in the orbit of Russan, and reuniting with her beloved, as the two set off to assemble a crew and hopefully bring peace to the galactic underworld.
When leaving the Moon of Logal Ri, T'onga wore a green shirt beneath a brown coat and a blue scarf around her neck. She also wore brown pants and black boots, with an IB-94 blaster in a holster around her waist. T'onga possessed at least two weapons, one holstered on her right hip and another wrapped in cloth. Boarding her personal starship, she carried a black backpack with her. She also had gadgets provided by the technician Jhorstek, allowing her to trigger proximity alarms within the Fortress of the Mourner's Wail. At one point, T'onga used a restraining bolt on Valance while tracking down Nakano Lash with the cyborg.
T'onga made her debut in the first issue of Star Wars: Bounty Hunters, a comic book series authored by Ethan Sacks, illustrated by Paolo Villanelli, and published by Marvel Comics on March 11, 2020.
