Borbig Drob

Borbig Drob, a Houk of the male persuasion, made his living as a gladiator during the early years of the Galactic Empire's existence. He achieved considerable fame, securing the champion title in the Stormblade Bloodfest a remarkable nine times. Subsequently, he received an invitation to participate in Gladiator Night, an event held on the planet of Lothal. There, he was slated to battle the Feeorin gladiator Warjak, having previously agreed to intentionally lose the match in exchange for extra compensation. However, this prearranged outcome was disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Imperial Security Bureau Lieutenant Jenkes, who found himself pursued by the bounty hunter Bossk and his associate, Ezra Bridger. After Jenkes inflicted an injury upon him, Bossk demanded that Drob and Warjak engage him in unarmed combat, a challenge they accepted, only to be swiftly defeated by the bounty hunter.

Biography

During the initial years of the Galactic Empire's rule, Borbig Drob, a male Houk, earned his living as a gladiator. He participated in the gladiatorial competition known as the Stormblade Bloodfest on numerous times, achieving victory on nine separate occasions. Following his ninth triumph, Drob was enlisted by Imperial Security Bureau Lieutenant Jenkes, operating under the alias "the Commissioner," to take part in Gladiator Night on the planet Lothal. Drob, along with his opponent, Warjak, were secretly transported from the planet Nyriaan via a transport and delivered to the Capital City spaceport on Lothal, as Jenkes was orchestrating the gladiatorial fights illegally. Upon arrival on Lothal, the pair were transported in an unmarked Imperial Troop Transport to Monad Outpost, a mining facility that had been repurposed for the fight.

Drob fought the bounty hunter Bossk at Monad Outpost.

At Monad Outpost, Drob received his weapons before entering the arena, where he was introduced to the waiting crowd by Gladiator Night's Pa'lowick announcer, eliciting a mix of cheers and jeers from the audience of gamblers. Prior to the commencement of the fight, Warjak verified with Drob that the Houk would allow him to win, as the Commissioner had promised them a substantial sum of money if they manipulated the outcome. The fight then commenced, but was promptly interrupted by the arrival of Jenkes in the arena, who was being pursued by the Trandoshan bounty hunter Bossk and a local street urchin named Ezra Bridger. Drob and Warjak initially failed to notice the trio's arrival, but realized something was amiss when the crowd's cheering subsided, causing them to cease fighting.

Jenkes, whose identity as the Commissioner was unknown to Drob, wounded Bossk and then declared that his sole purpose was to kill Bossk and not to halt the fight. Subsequently, Bossk announced that if he were to meet his end, it should be in combat against the gladiators. This declaration garnered the approval of the crowd, and Drob and Warjak prepared to face the Trandoshan, who requested that the fight be conducted in unarmed combat. The two gladiators complied and discarded their weapons, whereupon Bossk immediately attacked Drob, delivering a headbutt to his face and driving his knee into the Houk's stomach, causing him to collapse. Bossk then proceeded to defeat Warjak as well, before revealing that Jenkes was the Commissioner and that he had intended to steal the bets of every gambler at the arena. Imperial forces then arrived at Monad Outpost, and Jenkes was taken into custody.
