Boroklif, operating in 19 BBY, held the rank of captain within the Separatist Alliance. He and his crew served on the freighter called Larkrer, and their mission involved transporting supplies from a transfer point situated on the Outer Rim world of Batuu to a clandestine Separatist factory located on the planet Mokivj.
Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, on a mission to Batuu in search of Senator Padmé Amidala, engaged Boroklif's crew and, with the assistance of Chiss Senior Captain Thrawn, emerged victorious. Subsequently, they commandeered the Larkrer to reach the Separatist factory. They leveraged the pre-programmed course to Mokivj, which Boroklif had inputted into his freighter. To allay any suspicions, they informed the leader of the factory that Boroklif and his crew were compromised.
Boroklif functioned as the captain of the Separatist freighter known as the Larkrer. During 19 BBY, he and his crew provided logistical support by transporting supplies aboard the Larkrer. These supplies were moved from a transfer point at Black Spire Outpost on the Outer Rim planet Batuu to a concealed Separatist factory on the planet Mokivj. At one point, Duja, a Naboo Royal Handmaiden, was discovered investigating the Separatists that Boroklif worked with, and she was subsequently killed by them. Following the disappearance of Duja's superior, Senator Padmé Amidala of the Galactic Republic, while searching for her handmaiden, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker journeyed to Batuu in an attempt to locate both of them.
Skywalker, in the company of Chiss Senior Captain Thrawn, overpowered Boroklif and his allies, seizing control of the Larkrer to reach the Separatist factory on Mokivj. Upon the freighter's arrival at Mokivj, Duke [Solha](/article/solha], Boroklif's superior, requested a conversation with the captain. To dispel any potential doubts harbored by Solha, Skywalker then revealed that Boroklif and his personnel had been compromised. Furthermore, the Jedi and Thrawn informed Solha that Boroklif had previously configured the course to Mokivj within the Larkrer, thereby elucidating how the pair had successfully arrived at the Separatist factory.
Boroklif's character was referenced in the 2018 novel titled Thrawn: Alliances, which serves as the second book in the Star Wars: Thrawn trilogy penned by Timothy Zahn.
