Bryce, a male human, held the rank of colonel within the Galactic Empire's army. He joined Darth Vader and a squad of snowtroopers on Tython, acting on information from Doctor Chelli Aphra about a Rebel Alliance base. Despite Bryce's skepticism towards Aphra's information, since fleet scans found nothing, Vader directed him to scan the Martyrium of Frozen Tears. Aphra, having deliberately steered Vader away from the true base located on Hoth, betrayed the Imperials. Vader commanded Bryce to retreat, however the assassin droid 0-0-0 killed the colonel and his snowtroopers, with Bryce being fatally wounded by the blades on the droid's hand.
