The animated short "Bucket's Quest" can be found as part of the Star Wars Resistance's first season. It became available on the Disney Channel's YouTube platform on December 23, 2018. Notably, it is the seventh short film out of a total of twelve.
One morning, Bucket emerges from his storage area and realizes that his helmet has vanished. Panicked, he questions [Kazuda Xiono](/article/kazuda_xiono], who is occupied with some repairs, about its whereabouts, but Kaz claims ignorance. Bucket expresses his discomfort at being without his helmet, prompting Kaz to suggest that Bucket retrace his steps throughout the Colossus in search of it. While in the market, a group of droids mock Bucket due to his missing helmet. At the Office of Acquisitions, Flix and Orka notice something is amiss with Bucket, and upon realizing his helmet is gone, they offer him a newer, superior replacement. Bucket then returns to the repair shop wearing a new hat featuring a mechanical propeller. He discovers Tam Ryvora and BB-8, the latter wearing Bucket's missing helmet. Bucket becomes upset, and Tam explains that BB-8 simply wanted to try it on, adding that he looks good in it. This causes Bucket to chase after BB-8, resulting in an offscreen collision. Kaz, who is working on the Fireball and unaware of the commotion, catches Bucket's helmet as it flies through the air towards him, and informs Bucket that he has found it. Bucket rolls over, retrieves his helmet, bumps into Kaz's leg, and departs, leaving Kaz puzzled.
