Bunta

Bunta was a poisonous elixir, characterized by its light, green, and glowy appearance. This deadly cocktail was concocted from the yellow leaves of the bunta tree, a plant indigenous to the planet of Brendok, along with other components. The poison's potency, once distilled, was fleeting, lasting only a short time. The Brendok coven twins, Mae-ho Aniseya and Verosha Aniseya, were instructed in its use for hunting during the winter months, while bow and arrows were favored in the summer.

In the year 132 BBY, Sith acolyte Mae employed the poison supplied by Qimir to kill Jedi Master Torbin at the Jedi temple located on Olega. After infiltrating the temple and confronting Torbin once more, Mae successfully manipulated Torbin into consuming the poison as a means of seeking "forgiveness" for the incident that transpired on Brendok sixteen years earlier, an event that resulted in the destruction of the Brendok coven. Subsequently, Osha and the other Jedi discovered Torbin's lifeless body, with Osha determining that he had been poisoned by bunta, which led them to locate Qimir at a nearby apothecary.
