Burnium Ro was a warlord of the male persuasion. During the Imperial Era, he commanded forces from his stronghold situated on the planet Ikkrukk, located in the Mid Rim. Ro adopted the style of the ancient Nihil raiders in his propaganda and visual presentation. The danger presented by Ro caused Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin to dispatch his understudy, Lieutenant Commander Ellian Zahra, on a mission to eliminate him. Tarkin provided Zahra with his corvette, known as the Carrion Spike, to assist in this undertaking. He had the same family name as Marchion Ro, who held the title of Eye of the Nihil in the High Republic Era.
