Caibol, a man of human descent, was a crew member serving under Captain Raymus Antilles on the Tantive IV throughout the Imperial Era. Caibol assisted in gathering the provisions after Antilles took delivery of them from the Gran Garsa. Following the incident where the astromech droid R2-D2 tried to assault PTZ-1K, a probe droid trying to transmit a message to the Galactic Empire, Antilles dispatched Caibol alongside Bonipa with orders to bring both R2-D2 and C-3PO in to have their memories erased through a memory wipe. Nevertheless, R2-D2 managed to flee and made his way back to Antilles, alerting him to the presence of a droid spy. When PTZ-1K made an attempt to send a transmission to the Empire, C-3PO deceived it into utilizing a binary language that was incompatible, resulting in Caibol and Bonipa apprehending the droid.
