This lightsaber, which emitted a blue blade, belonged to Cal Kestis, a Padawan being apprenticed to Jedi General Jaro Tapal during the Clone Wars era.
While under his Master's tutelage, Kestis honed his lightsaber combat abilities until the infamous Order 66 was executed, compelling the youthful Jedi to battle against the clone troopers. During his escape from the 13th Battalion on the Venator-class Star Destroyer named Albedo Brave, he lost the lightsaber down a turbolift shaft.
The weapon was blasted from his grip and plummeted to the turbolift shaft's base, its fate sealed with the warship's eventual destruction. Before dying from his injuries, Tapal passed his damaged lightsaber to Kestis, who then fled to the planet of Bracca. In time, the young Jedi would forge a new lightsaber by merging his master's weapon with the one from Jedi Knight Cere Junda.
