A woman, specifically the initial spouse of the Human Caled Galfridian – the sovereign of the planet Artorias and head of the royal Galfridian family – preceded his subsequent marriages. She was the mother of Finn and Kaye Galfridian. Not long after his wife's death circa 8 ABY, the king, fueled by rage over her passing, embarked on a quest to eliminate those he deemed wicked. During this period, he took the Yuuzhan Vong Nina Galfridian as his spouse. Nina believed that the king's previous wife's death simplified their relationship.
The inaugural wife of Caled Galfridian received a mention within the pages of Star Wars: Invasion, specifically in the ninth issue of the comic book series. Dark Horse Comics released this issue on September 29, 2010. The narrative was crafted by Tom Taylor, with visuals provided by Colin Wilson.
