Calrissian Chronicles

The Calrissian Chronicles, a series of self-told narratives, featured Captain Lando Calrissian as he described his vibrant experiences. Before Tobias Beckett and his crew enlisted him to ferry them to Kessel, Calrissian had already shared, with some embellishment, tales of his exploits in the Rafa system and a scheme involving the Mindharp of Sharu. Calrissian believed he had enough material for at least three books, but he decided to wait and see how the initial release performed. Chapter seventy-three, entitled "Double Jeopardy," explored what Calrissian termed "the horrifying secret of the world Lahsbane."

Behind the scenes

The Calrissian Chronicles are a nod to The Lando Calrissian Adventures, a Star Wars Legends novel trilogy.

The Calrissian Chronicles initially appeared in the 2018 Star Wars spin-off movie, Solo: A Star Wars Story. The stories found within the Calrissian Chronicles, along with Lando's trilogy idea mentioned in Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, pay homage to the Star Wars Legends novel trilogy known as The Lando Calrissian Adventures. Mirroring the narrative in the first of Lando's Calrissian Chronicles stories, the initial novel, 1983's Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu, recounted an adventure concerning Lando and the Mindharp of Sharu.
