Dooku, while serving as a Padawan under the tutelage of Jedi Master Yoda within the Jedi Order, journeyed to Lahsbane; this event was subsequently recorded by the Serennian in his personal journal throughout his time.
The initial reference to Lahsbane in the new Star Wars canon occurred within Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a roleplaying game released in 2016 by Fantasy Flight Games. Conversely, in the Star Wars Legends timeline, Lahsbane made its debut in the seventy-third issue of the Star Wars comic series (1977), penned by Mary Jo Duffy, visually brought to life by Ron Frenz, and distributed by Marvel Comics starting on July 1, 1983.
