Cantocoins existed in three distinct sizes.
Cantocoins were a form of currency fashioned from valuable metal and employed as gambling tokens. These were used inside the Canto Casino, found within the city of Canto Bight located on the planet called Cantonica. These coins were manufactured as flat, round discs in three different sizes; the largest was color-coded gold, the medium size was silver, and the smallest was bronze.
The coins known as Cantocoins were originally designed for the movie Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, which premiered on December 15, 2017. However, their initial appearance was in the short story titled "The Ride", penned by John Jackson Miller. This story was included in the anthology Canto Bight on December 5 as a component of the promotional initiative, Journey to Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
