Centax-3, alternatively written as Centax 3, and known by the nickname "The Aunt," held the position of the third moon out of the four moons that orbited the planet of Coruscant. The Aloo family maintained a residence on this celestial body.
Not long after the destruction that befell the planet Alderaan, Anandra Milon, a Coruscant-based Alderaanian, made an inquiry to an old man who operated the Hangra's Meat Shack stand regarding a "Centax 3 delivery." The man expressed ignorance of the subject matter and, moved by her plight, ultimately offered her a small portion of food.
The headquarters for the Coalition for Progress, which served as the Galactic Empire's propaganda arm, was situated on Centax 3.
The initial reference to Centax 3 within canon occurred in "One Thousand Levels Down," a short story penned by Alexander Freed. This story saw publication in Star Wars Insider 151 during the year 2014. Its introduction to comics was in Doctor Aphra (2016) 35, authored by Simon Spurrier, with pencils by Andrea Broccardo, and released on August 21 of 2019.
Within the Star Wars Legends continuity, the first mention of Centax-3 appeared in Coruscant and the Core Worlds. This was a sourcebook intended for the Star Wars Roleplaying Game, published by Wizards of the Coast on January 3 in 2003.
