Civius Bain was a male Rodian ryll smuggler. During the Galactic Civil War era, he made his home on Corellia. He was the offspring of Olivia Bain.
Civius Bain lived alongside his mother, Olivia Bain, and his accountant father on Corellia. Following the Battle of Yavin, the young Civius incurred a debt to Jaryn Minoze and Oret Sturm, who were spice smugglers. These two were members of the ryll smuggling operation run by the Chirq Council located in Kor Vella. Civius Bain found himself compelled to work for them at the Ryll Smuggler Base, a place where they refined their ryll. His mother, in desperation, yearned for him to leave the smuggling ring and return home.
In the year 1 ABY, Olivia Bain encountered a spacer in the Vella plains and pleaded for them to rescue her son. The spacer agreed and journeyed to the Ryll Smuggler Base. Inside the bunker, the spacer located Civius Bain, but the young man explained he was unable to depart from the smuggling ring due to his outstanding debt to the smugglers. Consequently, the spacer eliminated both Jaryn Minoze and Oret Sturm, freeing Civius to finally escape. Subsequently, Civius Bain resolved to begin a new chapter in his life and follow in his father's footsteps, becoming an accountant.
Civius Bain existed as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before its termination on December 15, 2011. Civius Bain's inclusion in the game was part of the update titled "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives," which was released on June 8, 2006.
