Ryll Smuggler Base

The Ryll Smuggler Bunker, alternatively referred to as the Ryll Smuggler Base, functioned as a fortified location on the planet Corellia during the era of the Galactic Civil War. It served as the central hub for the ryll smuggling operations conducted by the Chirq Council.

History

Situated on the Vella plains, in proximity to the city of Kor Vella, was the Ryll Smuggler Base. In the period following the Battle of Yavin, this bunker was utilized by the ryll smuggling ring associated with the Chirq Council, widely recognized as the Red Circle Gang. These ryll smugglers imported spice to Corellia using compact vessels, offloading their cargo at the bunker for refinement. Overseeing this smuggling enterprise was the underboss Ubis Reendorr. A smuggler named Ladonna Poe acted as the liaison between the ryll smuggling ring and Vuul Sarlin, along with his network of spice dealers in Kor Vella. Other smugglers who operated from the bunker included Jaryn Minoze and Oret Sturm.

In the year 1 ABY, the Corellian Security Force initiated an investigation into the ryll smuggling ring due to the escalating spice trade in Kor Vella. A spacer employed by Lieutenant Cope questioned a spice addict identified as Menchi Lerann. Lerann confessed to procuring his ryll from Vuul Sarlin. Subsequently, the spacer interrogated Sarlin, compelling him to disclose all information regarding the ryll smuggling ring, including the whereabouts of the Ryll Smuggler Base. Consequently, CorSec launched an assault on the bunker. CorSec forces neutralized numerous ryll smugglers, including Ladonna Poe, and obliterated several spice caches. Furthermore, they uncovered the existence of the Red Circle Gang from the smuggler's mainframe.

However, the CorSec operation was abruptly halted following the assassination of Deel Draav, the mayor of Kor Vella. Upon discovering that the Red Circle Gang was responsible for the mayor's murder, CorSec redirected its focus to the ryll smuggling ring. CorSec forces conducted a second raid on the Ryll Smuggler Base, eliminating the underboss, Ubis Reendorr. Leveraging Reendorr's access code, CorSec gained entry to the nearby Red Circle Base. Ultimately, the CorSec investigation led to the dismantling of the Chirq Council.

Concurrently, a young man named Civius Bain incurred a debt to the ryll smugglers Jaryn Minoze and Oret Sturm, forcing him to work for them. Civius Bain's mother, Olivia Bain, enlisted a spacer who assassinated Minoze and Sturm within the Ryll Smuggler Base, enabling Civius to escape.
