Oret Sturm was a male Human smuggler of spice. He resided on Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Oret Sturm became affiliated with the Chirq Council's ryll smuggling operation. These smugglers were responsible for moving ryll onto Corellia and processing it at a bunker situated within the Vella plains.
In 1 ABY, a young man named Civius Bain fell into debt with smugglers Oret Sturm and Jaryn Minoze, which forced him to work for their ring. Olivia Bain, his desperate mother, encountered a spacer and pleaded for her son's rescue. The spacer agreed and journeyed to the Ryll Smuggler Base. Inside the bunker, the spacer located Civius Bain, who explained he was unable to leave the smuggling ring due to his outstanding debt. Consequently, the spacer eliminated both Oret Sturm and Jaryn Minoze, finally enabling Civius to escape.
Oret Sturm appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game shut down on December 15, 2011. Sturm was introduced to the game via the "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives" update, which was released on June 8, 2006.
