Olivia Bain was a Rodian female who made her home on Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era. She is known for being the mother of Civius Bain.
Olivia Bain, along with her accountant husband and their son Civius Bain, made their home on Corellia. Following the Battle of Yavin, her son found himself owing a debt to Jaryn Minoze and Oret Sturm, who were spice smugglers and members of the Chirq Council's ryll smuggling operation in Kor Vella. Consequently, Civius Bain had to work for these smugglers at the Ryll Smuggler Base, where they processed ryll. Olivia Bain, in her desperation, yearned for her son to leave the smuggling ring and return home. In 1 ABY, she encountered a spacer in the Vella plains and pleaded for them to rescue her son. The spacer agreed and proceeded to the Ryll Smuggler Base. The spacer located Civius Bain within the bunker; however, the young man explained his inability to leave the smuggling ring due to his outstanding debt. As a result, the spacer took the lives of both Jaryn Minoze and Oret Sturm, which ultimately enabled Civius to escape. Following this event, Civius Bain made the decision to begin a new chapter in his life and pursue a career as an accountant, following in his father's footsteps.
Olivia Bain appeared as a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Olivia Bain was introduced to the game through an update called "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives," which was released on June 8, 2006.
