The Red Circle Bunker, alternatively referenced as the Red Circle Base, was a fortified structure situated on the planet Corellia during the era of the Galactic Civil War. It functioned as one of the primary operational hubs for the Chirq Council.
The Red Circle Base was established within the Vella plains, in proximity to the settlement of Kor Vella. Post the Battle of Yavin, the base became the central headquarters for the Kor Vella division of the Chirq Council, also known as the Red Circle Gang. The bunker served as the operational center for the three figureheads of this Chirq Council division: Vora Anjek, Annor Fash, and Vella Corse.
In the year 1 ABY, the Corellian Security Force initiated a formal inquiry into the Red Circle Gang due to escalated spice trafficking activities within Kor Vella. A spacer employed by Lieutenant Cope uncovered the existence of the Red Circle Gang's illicit ryll distribution network and identified the location of the Ryll Smuggler Base. Following the assassination of mayor Deel Draav of Kor Vella by the Red Circle Gang, CorSec launched a raid on the Ryll Smuggler Base. The spacer successfully neutralized the second-in-command, Ubis Reendorr, and obtained the access code required to enter the Red Circle Base. Subsequently, CorSec launched an assault on the nearby Red Circle Base, eliminating the majority of the security personnel. Utilizing Reendorr's access code, the spacer successfully infiltrated the mainframe located in the base's courtyard, revealing the identities of the three local Chirq Council leaders: Vora Anjek, Annor Fash, and Vella Corse. Consequently, CorSec executed an attack on the basement level of the Red Circle Base, resulting in the deaths of the three leaders. During the operation, the spacer also discovered that the principal leaders of the Chirq Council were operating from the city of Doaba Guerfel. Ultimately, the CorSec investigation culminated in the dismantling of the Chirq Council.
The Red Circle Base made an appearance in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was discontinued on December 15, 2011. The Red Circle Base was integrated into the game through an update titled "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives," which was released on June 8, 2006.
