A Human female lieutenant in the Chirq Council, named Vella Corse, resided on Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era.
Following the Battle of Yavin, Vella Corse, along with Annor Fash and Vora Anjek, jointly managed the Kor Vella branch of the Chirq Council, also known as the Red Circle Gang. Her operational headquarters was the Red Circle Base, a fortified location situated in the Vella plains.
In the year 1 ABY, the Corellian Security Force commenced an investigation into the Red Circle Gang due to escalated spice trafficking activities in Kor Vella. A spacer in the service of Lieutenant Cope uncovered the Red Circle Gang's secret ryll smuggling operation and the location of the Ryll Smuggler Base. Subsequent to the assassination of Kor Vella's mayor, Deel Draav, by the Red Circle Gang, CorSec conducted a raid on the Ryll Smuggler Base. The spacer successfully eliminated the underboss, Ubis Reendorr, and acquired his access code for the Red Circle Base. CorSec then launched an assault on the nearby Red Circle Base, eliminating the majority of the guards. Using Reendorr's access code, the spacer hacked into the base's courtyard mainframe, revealing the identities of the three local Chirq Council leaders: Vella Corse, Vora Anjek, and Annor Fash. Consequently, CorSec attacked the Red Circle Base's basement, resulting in the deaths of all three leaders. During this operation, the spacer also discovered that the Chirq Council's leaders were situated in the city of Doaba Guerfel. Ultimately, the CorSec investigation led to the Chirq Council's dissolution.
Vella Corse appeared as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. This game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Vella Corse was introduced to the game through an update titled "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives," which was released on June 8, 2006.
