At the peak of the conflict known as the Clone Wars, both the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic convened a peace conference on the independent world of Mandalore. With the aspiration of achieving a peaceful resolution to the ongoing war, representatives, which included three senators from the Republic Senate along with members of the Separatist Senate, gathered at the Sundari Royal Palace, the residence of Duchess Satine Kryze. Nevertheless, the talks ultimately failed.
