Coupling connectors were a specific kind of mechanical element that had application in the fixing of particular machines. Synara San, a Warbird gang operative acting as an informant, delivered some connector couplets under false pretenses to Jarek Yeager's Repair Station as a means to scrutinize the Colossus' fire control system that Kazuda Xiono, Tamara Ryvora, and Neeku Vozo were in the process of mending. Xiono, not knowing San's true intentions, took the couplets with some anxiety, hoping to expedite her departure from the repair facility.
