This non-canon animated short, "Cruising with Luke," created using LEGO bricks, premiered on the LEGO YouTube channel on August 5, 2022. It can be found within both the LEGO Star Wars Summer Shorts collection and the LEGO STAR WARS: Celebrate the Season series.
As the ground trembles, Lando Calrissian walks into a shop situated in Mos Eisley. Outside, a group of onlookers observes the arrival of Luke Skywalker, accompanied by C-3PO and R2-D2, in an X-34 landspeeder as they blast music. Clearly irritated by the noise, Calrissian demands they leave. Skywalker and his droids then speed off in their landspeeder, kicking up dust and smoke as they go.
Venturing into the desert, Luke engages in a race with a Jawa sandcrawler, circling the much larger vehicle. Distracted during the race, Skywalker's speeder strikes a rock, resulting in the vehicle crashing and breaking apart into individual LEGO bricks. Though unharmed, Luke is visibly upset. One of the Jawas responds with laughter.
Subsequently, Luke strikes a deal with the Jawas. In exchange for attaching a repulsor engine to their sandcrawler, the Jawas reconstruct his destroyed landspeeder, making it significantly larger than before. Once the Jawas leave, Luke and the droids enter the now-enlarged landspeeder and drive away.
