The Podracer pilot known as Cy Yunga controlled a Podracer powered by a set of red, white, and yellow Hummel Carbine V-71 Ridge Piranha Podracer engines during the year of 32 BBY. As a prominent contender on the Sunken City race course located on the planet Aquilaris, Yunga piloted this pod. He also once raced it on the world of Tatooine. Eventually, at least one engine, distinctly identifiable as belonging to Yunga's craft, ended up in the possession of Watto, a junk dealer who operated a junkyard on Tatooine.

In the year of 32 BBY, the professional Podracer pilot Cy Yunga piloted a strikingly decorated Podracer. Its defining feature was the red, white, and yellow comet-like patterns adorning the sides of the two Hummel Carbine V-71 Ridge Piranha racing engines that propelled the rocket-shaped cockpit.
This repulsorcraft was known for its sharp turning ability, and its accelerator, while initially slow, could eventually propel it to a very high speed. The cockpit, painted red and yellow, was designed for a single pilot. It also featured a pointed fin directly behind the seat, and two objects resembling engines on either side. The cockpit was connected to the pair of engines by control cables, which were, in turn, linked by energy binders.

During 32 BBY, Cy Yunga raced using his Podracer, which was powered by V-71 engines. That year, Yunga was considered a top contender on the Sunken City race course on the planet of Aquilaris, sharing that distinction with "Bullseye" Navior. At some point, Yunga participated in a Podrace on the Outer Rim world of Tatooine, competing against a number of experienced racers. These included Wan Sandage, Mawhonic, the rookie Ben Quadinaros, and Bozzie Baranta, the champion from Ord Ibanna.
Ultimately, one of Cy Yunga's easily identifiable engines ended up at a junkyard on Tatooine. This junkyard was owned by Watto, a Toydarian junk dealer known for trading in Podracer parts.
To play as Cy Yunga and his Podracer in the Nintendo 64 version of the 1999 video game Star Wars Episode I: Racer, players had to enter the code RRCYYUN or RRTANGENTABACUS. Entering this code replaced "Bullsye" Navior with Cy Yunga. In the Sega Dreamcast version of the game, one of Yunga's V-71 engines, identified in Star Wars: Episode I Insider's Guide, appears exclusively in Watto's junkyard. In the PC version of the game, unlock Cy Yunga by pressing Left-Ctrl, C and Y together on the character select screen.
