In the year 9 ABY, Din Djarin, a bounty hunter, journeyed with Cara Dune, an Alderaanian human and former shock trooper of the Rebel Alliance, and the alien youngling Grogu, to Kuiil, an Ugnaught moisture farmer. They arrived on Arvala-7, a planet located in the Outer Rim Territories. Kuiil, having previously toiled as an indentured servant for the Galactic Empire within gene farms, commented that Grogu, whom he had encountered before, possessed a look that was too "evolved" and "ugly" to be the result of genetic manipulation. He then followed this by saying that Dune looked as if she had been farmed in the Cytocaves of Nora. The former shock trooper then gave a subtle smile in response.
The initial reference to the Cytocaves of Nora occurred in "Chapter 7: The Reckoning," which is the seventh installment of the first season of The Mandalorian, a television program available on Disney+. This episode was broadcast on December 18, 2019.
