The D'Armin Syndicate existed during the Imperial Era as an organized crime group. The syndicate launched an assault on a Tagge Corporation supply vessel in 3 ABY. The leader of the Tagge Corporation, Lady Domina Tagge of the House of Tagge, observed a decline in the corporation's standing in the Hadi system the following day due to news of this attack. She inquired about the situation to her secretary, Lapin Tagge. Lapin then told Domina about the attack, and she responded by ordering a battleship to intercept the syndicate at Feriae Junction. Furthermore, Domina commanded that their engines and weapons be disabled before they were cast into the sun on the subsequent day.
The comic series Star Wars: Doctor Aphra (2020 series) featured flashbacks that included the D'Armin Syndicate in its sixth issue. Alyssa Wong wrote the issue, which Marvel Comics released on November 25, 2020. Before the comic's release, StarWars.com mentioned the syndicate in a preview article for the issue on November 18 of that same year.
