The Feriae Junction was a space location that possessed a sun. In the year 3 ABY, Lady Domina Tagge commanded a battleship to intercept the D'Armin Syndicate's vessels at the Feriae Junction, after a Tagge Corporation supply ship was attacked by them. The plan was to disable their engines and [weapons](/article/weapon], then force them into the sun after a day. This was in retaliation for the earlier attack.

The current Star Wars canon first included the Feriae Junction through a mention in a flashback within the sixth issue of the 2020 Star Wars: Doctor Aphra comic series. This series was written by Alyssa Wong and published by Marvel Comics on November 25 of that year. StarWars.com previewed the issue, including the celestial body's mention, a week before its release. The planet Feriae Junction was originally part of the Star Wars Legends continuity, debuting in the twenty-seventh issue of the 1977 Star Wars comic series. Archie Goodwin wrote it, Carmine Infantino illustrated it, and Marvel Comics released it on June 26, 1979.
The 1979 comic referred to the planet as simply "Junction," but it was later expanded to "Feriae Junction" in "The Hunt Within: Valance's Tale: Part 4," a Wizards.com roleplaying article. This article featured "Mission 4: The Doom of Ultaar," a scenario designed for use with the Wizards of the Coast Star Wars Miniatures game. Jason Fry authored the article, which was published on January 7, 2005. The 2016 Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars Roleplaying boxed set Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game brought back the celestial body "Junction" into current canon, though a connection to Feriae Junction hasn't been established.
