D'lonis

D'lonis existed during the Galactic Civil War and was a Human who worked as a smuggler.

Biography

While visiting several cities on Tatooine in 1 ABY, D'lonis's path crossed with that of Tearfin, a bounty hunter. Tearfin had journeyed to Tatooine in pursuit of a smuggler who had absconded with a valuable crate. The crate was equipped with a transponder, allowing Tearfin to easily track it to Tatooine. However, shortly after Tearfin's arrival, the thief disabled the transponder. Subsequently, the bounty hunter encountered D'lonis and a group of smugglers, suspecting that one of them was her target, but she couldn't pinpoint the culprit. The group included five other smugglers in addition to D'lonis, specifically Parugga, Rh'klin, Barosk, Klaphini, and Captain Himfan. Tearfin attempted to identify the thief by interrogating D'lonis and the other smugglers, but she was unable to distinguish between the innocent and the guilty, as each smuggler simply accused the others. Eventually, a spacer who was on a quest to become a Hero of Tatooine offered to assist Tearfin. After questioning all the smugglers, the spacer successfully identified the thief. The spacer then informed Tearfin and was rewarded the Mark of Intellect for solving the case.

Behind the scenes

Every possible depictions of D'lonis

D'lonis appeared as a non-player character (NPC) in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts. The game was shut down on December 15, 2011. Because D'lonis was generated using the standard "smuggler" template, the NPC's appearance was randomly selected from eight possible variations.

D'lonis was introduced to the game as part of the "Hero of Tatooine" questline, which was included in "Publish 9" on June 29, 2004. This NPC, along with Tearfin and the other five smugglers, would appear periodically in different cities across Tatooine. Players participating in the "Intellect" portion of the "Hero of Tatooine" quest had to interrogate D'lonis and the other smugglers to determine which one was Tearfin's target. The identity of the thief changed each time the quest was restarted. With the release of "Publish 24," on October 18, 2005, D'lonis and the five other smugglers were given specific names, replacing the previously randomly generated names.

The "Hero of Tatooine" questline underwent significant changes with the introduction of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005, but the "Intellect" segment remained unchanged.
