Darita was a captain within the Galactic Empire, specifically a female pilot commanding Squadron Two as its squadron leader in the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. While serving with Shadow Wing, she and Yrica Quell offered each other assistance, despite a limited acquaintance. She perished in 5 ABY during the New Republic's attack on Troithe, attempting to protect Shadow Wing as they fled Troithe. She died escorting the bulk freighter that Shadow Wing had commandeered, as her squadron was scheduled to be the final group to board. She had a sister who was a Lieutenant also named Darita, and one of them was known as Shay. Darita was the wife of a man living on Jakku.
